Hi Friends! So lots has transpired since making this video. This was made a week ago. 1. I am keeping the m3 and I am going to build it again, but better and clubsport / track focused. I have got some incredible companies on board already! 2. I bought a carbon roof off of a crashed E92 M3. It should be here next week. :)

I love to hear that!! I was down at mvasion last year and met a guy with a full e92 track/cs dedicated car, all he could say was that it’s crazy expensive to maintain it.

Keep it man, you don’t have to sell to buy every time. The e92 is definitely one to keep regardless of what you end up using it for. Put it to the side and forget about it if you have too haha. Like you said you aren’t focused on growing the channel really and finding new cars, building them and moving on. All your viewers are still gonna watch your videos man. And the long extremely high quality builds like your e82 and maybe z4 in the future is plenty. don’t worry about how or why you should keep the cars. Just do it😂 certain ones should be kept and that’s one of them. I know you’ve had cars in the past you wished you’d kept, and I know if you wanted you could end up collecting them all. There’s no reason to settle, just go after what you want.❤️

I’ve got a super clean 6MT E90 M3 and every year about this time I think of either selling it or prepping it for another spring/summer of enjoyment and what I need to do to take care of beyond the oil change. My daily is an 6MT E92 328xi and sometimes simple, reliable, and economical thoughts get the better of me but atm, I feel like I’m getting everything I want between the two of them.

I feel like the reason that you keep flip flopping is bc it is your daily and you are used to it. I think if you were to drive more of a commuter car, you'd realize how special this car really is. I personally see this car as a weekend car if you were to have the nice parts back on it and loud exhaust. Just saw ur comment and glad you're keeping it!

+1 for the track built. There are many stuffs you can play around with E9x platform for a track built since so many people have done so much crazy things on this platform. However practically I won't suggest going all out before you reach the upper intermediate or advance group level. Brakes tires and some weight saving will offer plenty of fun on track, probably not good for the content creating though.

Hell yeah send it on track. I took my E90 M3 on track and it was amazing. I've tracked a couple of other cars, mostly fwd hot hatches and this thing was great. I was initially kind of scared of it, but it was so composed and easy to drive. Its one of those cars that let you get near the limits and it doesn't feel scary or unsafe.

I think you would be better off tracking a 335i with a s65 swap. The m3 is going up in value, if you damage the engine on the track being matching numbers car, then the value drops, but if you put in the wall at the track, then its done, its lost forever. A 335i on track is a safer option if you hit something, OR if SOMETHING or SOMEONE HITS YOU

Look bro what I would do is definitely keep the e92 and track it then if you want a good cheap daily I think a f30 330i would be perfect , It’s good on gas AND it’s reliable and since it’s a 4 banger you won’t be so tempted to modify it.

G80 is still too expensive unless you find a cheaper RWD version somewhere. Idk im not interested in spending that much on a car a just sorta like. Id rather take that money and build a real project from the ground up. But im a bit twisted like that lol

DO NOT SELL THE E92. It will only lead to regret & remorse. The grass isn’t usually greener on the other side. When you already have something awesome, keep it, love it & continue to enjoy it to the max. I genuinely think the S65 is peak ICE before downsizing came in. I’ll never sell mine. Ever. My e92 sits next to my C63 edition 507 (6.2 n/a) Again, another car I’ll never sell. Peak M & peak AMG😎

Don’t sell it. I got an e92 m3 as well but dct. Never selling it. It’s so hard to replace it. F80 sucks. I found my m3 by luck after selling my e46 m3 which I also regret selling

F8x would be much better suited for daily, ease of power and driveability. The e9x m3 is more of a weekend ripper, it’s just doesn’t make the most sense to be daily driving.

Dude. I have the M5 DCT and I think you being an enthusiast, you would not like it. I’m not a fan. I had the F10 as a manual years ago and it was so much better. The DCT is always in the wrong gear. If I want to go go, I have to stomp on it for it to downshift. A throttle squeeze does nothing when it’s cruising along. A manual, I’d be in a lower gear and it would just go. Manual is where it’s at. All day long! Also, the DCt is weird in stop and go traffic - that’s not it’s thing. Stick with the stick.

Gx series cars are dropping in price. May be able to pick one up at around same price as your old GTS. As you know from nor just being in BMW world but, the shop. Gx series cars are now making monster power with minimal cost upgrades. My opinion, it could definitely bring more views to the channel. As you once said, you don't know how all of these young kids are affording Gx cars.

I don’t care about making monster power brother.. I did when I was younger, not anymore. I am more interested in building cars from the ground up. And I’m definitely not going to spend a bunch of cash on a car just to get views, that’s a great way to end up hating what you used to love. I don’t believe in working that way. I’ll always build the cars that I have deep love for. G8x isn’t any of that for me. It’s also the most common car on RU-vid now. Nothing exciting about it anymore imo

Definitely respect 🙏🏻 🫡. I can definitely understand the non desire for chasing big power as you have gotten older. I am at only a few years from 50, lol I don't think I look it as Park crew was shocked when I told them my age however, my age aside. I like you stopped chasing power, for me it was 20 ish years ago. Last chasing power build I did was on an 06 TT 225 I bought new. Within a year I had done everything I could to reach close to that 500hp magic number before building the block was necessary. In 06-08 (as long as I kept the car) 485hp 465tq (crank) in an mk1 TT was some pretty serious power, mainly due to weight. The car was an absolute blast, putting Z06 vettes ect... to sleep. I was at the right age. Most I have done since is tune, exhaust, intake, basic bolt ons to my cars but, mainly I have just bought the cars I knew I would enjoy in stock format and rocked them with OEM+ look, mods. Keep doing what you are doing man. I follow because I enjoy your content, respect you and want to support a local. Have a good week bro.

Don't sell it. Having almost exact same spec as you, you're gonna regret it. They don't make cars like these anymore. Getting a turbo car like an f8x and make 500+ whp is too effortless now a days. Purity of the NA will always be timeless.

My challenge with my e90 m3 is that it's a really expensive track car, and for the money there are compelling alternatives. Meanwhile it's also an fantastic daily, but there are also compelling daily alternatives that prob daily better but aren't quite as special and fun. So, the car lands in no mans land; it is fantastic but it needs to be used with one purpose. I've tentatively sold mine and I'm going all in on e36 m3 track toy and I'll let the f30 335xi do the daily work. I'm excited to see the build up of your track toy, it will be awesome!

It sounds like you flip between a full race car plus rationalizing the M3 as a daily. If you sell the M3 for an F80, would that be the daily? I say go full race car with the E92 (or F80 to be honest) and get into a cheap, older but reliable (lol) BMW as a daily. We’d have 3 types of content: street built / mods from the 1M, track days with the E92/F80, and even maintenance / light mods on a daily. Hell, get a clean, rust-free E30!
