That is why i like to play the outside bets. That ball can do weird things but it can't miss every time. I watch to see the ball rolls true, not vibrate and do weird moves. But yes, the house always has an edge, especially thanks to the "0" on the roulette wheel (tips the edge to the casino's favour). There is no need for us to make up complex ways to cheat the players.

That's how the game works, and why it (or any other casino game for that matter), are profitable. The ball sometimes settles itself in the pocket immediately, sometime or bounces around a little, so depending on how and where it hits the parts of the wheel. It's really not that hard.
