the enemy team had no counter, and they missed their shots, if you are in a high level match if you are going maeve you just can hit two daggers then run because they are not going to miss their shots, that´s when you understand you really need cat burgler, RG its just for casual
I used to never use RG but after I found this channel I use it more than any other. Well unless the enemy has 3 or more frontliners in which case street Justice is KING.
Street justice is good with tanks.. RG ang CB are good with flanks.. maeve's all talents were actually viable unlike other champs were theyre just 2 or 2 viablr talents
I used to think that street justice was the way. I'd pounce and run to the next opponent , and the 9lives and pounce. Then I'd have to try to kill without manoeuvring. So I got good with Rg. And I still play rg now, but I tested street justice, and it just doesn't work out, especially since I'm so used to staying in the air. And moving with pounce. And then I have to use 9lives to secure a kill that would run. Then there is also the heals. I cant tell you how many times I'd pounce and the healer would put then just above 35% health. So yea... street justice was good. It was good until I realized how bad I was playing. Rg just makes you better. And idk how the other talent works, i never tried it and dont want to
@@Qomber9596 cat burglar is "the best" for maeve. The potential of hitting a target for 2080 damage with 2 shots is insane, compared to the usual 1600. Paired with jenos tyra or torvald, its the best talent for maeve, if youre accurate. If youre tactical, you use rg and if youre hella aggro you use SJ. SJ is king when it comes to more than 2 tanks because the potential to kill a target with a lot of health instantly is insane, especially when it goes through shields.

Well if you compare TECHNO's gameplay to Simsi's I think you'll notice why one plays rg and the other one sj: -Techno wants flashy plays ;3 -Techno doesn't use animation cancel to get the free dagger -> he has to hit 3 times to get a kill on most targets anyways (if you ignore pounce) -Techno plays SO aggressive and hits ALL his air shots -Techno misses quite a few long-range shots ->RG lets TECHNO take advantage of his mid-air accuracy and enables the hyper carry aggressive play style -Simsi has to play against god-tier lians so screw flashy plays ;3 -Simsi uses animation cancel to get the free dagger -> he can 2 shot every DPS/flank -Simsi plays a lot slower and doesn't show us all that many air shots D: -Simsi hits more of his long-range shots -> Simsi plays it more like a hypermobile lian, having 1,4k burst and no dmg falloff (well being in the air like techno plays, really doesn't matter in the ppl anymore, you get called out and bursted down by 4-5 people, and if you look at frz's and fishi's game yesterday, even the drogoz and willo will hit you regardless)
@@kyqu3104 Simsi or Simsiloo is a paladins pro who played for the pml team Penta (who won MSI) and is currently playing for Pittsburg Knights. And animation cancelling is basicly when you cancel the second knife with F and hold LMB, so maeve throws 3 knives.
I never used RG back then. I thought it was bad and that street justice and cat burglar was better. But when I saw this channel, I decided to try RG. I can say that I regret not using RG sooner. I love it. It gives me that mobility boost that I wanted with Maeve. Now I just need to work on my accuracy with my knifes, and I'll be set!

RG just gives so many new possibilities in your movement and that is really important with maeve so i could never think of using any other talent. also the 10% dmg boost

Hey dude, this is really awesome. I've a question for u. How much time it takes to understand how the game works? I mean, how much time do I need to understand all mechanics, positioning, feeling of the game etc to play, character's spells and features to play on high/middle level? Ty for u answer
I mainly use RG since it means that I don't have to be afraid of ever running out of pounces. I can use it to reposition myself, to deal damage and I know that as long as I get an elim i can pretty much get out of there. This is my personal opinion but I also feel like its 100x more fun than CB isnce you basically have no reason to touch the floor.
