Wacom Julia Trotti great to see you guys take note that Juilia did this video to help us out there. As I’m on a veterans pension and this is a great idea for me to help my photography as ive got back into my photography for my rehab. So my old bamboo is out due to it was damaged while in a bag prob just to big. But I’m going to try saving up to get one. As I’d say the others at my clinic may find the use of one of these be great for things they do like drawing and other rehab stuff. Even just using there computers. I seem to be the go to guy for asking about stuff for some reason lol. So I guess when I can seeing it may cause some sales your way. Great to see you supporting an Australian Photographer and her Video. Cheers from 🇦🇺.
I forgot to link it, but you can see me using the tablet in this editing video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7jl7T6PgB0Q.html so it shows how I retouch with it :)
That mouse comment is absolutely true. But as someone who isn't that professional (yet? 😁), and who doesn't have the money for a tablet at the moment, I do everything on the little touchpad by the laptop keyboard. It's a great alternative!
This helped me out so much! I have been wanting to get into the digital drawing world for a while now and have been looking for Wacom tablets that fit my taste. I think this is the one for me! Your video answered all my questions so thank you! ❤
Awesome review! I see a lot of people reviewing this for digital art type work but I wanted to see how it was with real photo retouching like you use it with, so thanks for the info! I think this will be my next purchase! 🙂
I adore my tablet! It only took me a few hours to get the hang of it and made it so much easier for me to retouch. I would get really sick looking at the computer for so long and with the tablet my editing time was greatly reduced. I got a small one and kind of wish I went to the medium size but my budget didn’t allow it at the time
My Wacom Tablet Intuos Pro is totally the new one and I've bought it 3 years ago. I have no idea how to use it. How can I start use my tablet? I know that tablet is probably better than mouse. Julia, I love your channel and your personality 🙂 xoxo
Excellent presentation! I bought a XP-Pen Deco 03 wireless drawing tablet a couple years ago. I got that over the wacom because it had a larger surface and was cheaper than the wacom intuos. It works fine in adobe illustrator and photoshop.
My editing work is minimal on my photos, still I switched from mouse to a tablet last winter ...... I would not go back to mouse, like you said some mouvements are not natural with the mouse and you get more lrecision in your mouvements with the tablets
I used it for 3 years and now need to replace the inflated battery. How can I do it myself? Now covid 19 very crisis here in Thailand and I have no idea to go for the seviced. Thanks. ♥️
Hi I have just come across you video on the Wacom Intuos which I found very useful. Have you done a video on how to programmed the tablet to photoshop. If so could you please point me in the right direction. Many thanks
At about 1:20 in you mentioned something that I didn't quite understand. I think you said "aursie." What is "aursie?" Thanks for the info here Ms. Julia, it made me decide to upgrade to the same Wacom tablet you're using from an older usb connected Wacom I have now. Keep up the great work you're doing to help us become better photographers! (Also, thanks for lowering the volume of your background music, it's much better! And I'd be remiss not to mention, again, how much I love your accent!)
I'm not too much into lots of toys with a million buttons. However, I do have 'The One By Wacom', which I think is part of the Bamboo series, it only has two buttons on the pen and I love it! I always use it so such a point I bought a smaller unnamed one for my laptop when I’m travelling. I have my pen pressure sensitive so it’s a bit like a real pen the harder you press the the heavier the edit. For landscape photography they are almost essential. Like yourself I had to force myself to use it to get into the habit, and even though mine is hard wired the pen can impact on my mouse if not put away correctly. I've had my Wacom for about 4 years and I think they’ve just about halved in price here in the U.K. A superb bit of kit.
This video really helped me deciding on which tablet I should buy! And it's this one! :) Thank you very much! It's a jungle out there so this was very helpful!
I love watching your editing videos but I couldn't find one where you explained why one should use a tablet... until now. Now I have to find the money to get one hehe.
Hi, I use this Wacom to edit on Lightroom. What is the short cut to increase or decrease he size of the brush? And also adjust the feathering? I don’t have a big keyboard with bracket keys. Thanks
Thank you for this video, I was juggling between this and the pro for retouching photos. Seems like you don't need those extra features that comes with the pro when it comes to that use case, so I doubt I would need them either.
Thanks for the video. I would like to know if we can use it while using Zoom? During Zoom meetings I need to write on the whiteboard and with the mouse, it's really hard to write. Would it be suitable or do you have any other options for writing? Thanks and best regards.
I’m curious to know if the surface gets scratched up easily and if the nibs worn off fast? I bought the Wacom intuos pro but I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews of it so I’m thinking of having it exchange
Hi Julia, thank you for the explanation. Just bought the same tablet to use it with Macbook pro running OS Catalina. I am having problem with the drag and drop in all applications when connected to this tablet. Please help
thanks for taking the time making this review. I have a question regarding the Bluetooth which is the main reason that I am deciding to get one like that. Do you need an extra adaptor USB to connect it? or is this connected via Bluetooth only similar to Bluetooth mac keyboard?
HI thx a lot for your video, can you explain us the setting you use for your wacom tablet if you think it will be a good idea for a new video :-) i love your work photography and naturel retouching thx a lot
Thanks! I find that it only lags if I also have a bluetooth mouse connected at the same time. So when I go to use my tablet, I just turn off my mouse and it works without lag!
Hello! That was a really nice review, I enjoyed every moment of it! I have a question tho. I dont know if its better to buy Intuos M with bt or Intuos Pro S. There's no price difference , and I spend tons of hours on Illustrator, and want to start drawing too. Which one would you recommend?
Hi, Nice video and god information about Your New tablet. but I Wonder if we can use different programs with Wacom beside Photoshop. I use canons DPP 4. Does it work with that? :):)
thx Julia for feedback! but what kind of type-model of tablet have Y been using before? I.m thinking about to downgrade from my Intuos Pro PTH-850 L to Bamboo CTH-670 type or Intuos 690 - both are M-version (i.m industrial designer use it for sketches and renderings). Any advices will take into account and appreciate
I just purchased the small bluetooth and i plugged it in to charge and test it and everything was ok i guess, when fully charged i switched the bluetooth on and it lags too much!I have nothing else connected,do you know how to solve this?Im on mac os.
Hi Julia, thank u loads for ur work on this channel. i rarely comment but ur sincereness makes me less shy for once :D Do you think the SMALL size of the tablet wouldn't be enough? Love from Italy xoxo
Thank you! Yeah you can definitely make it work with a small tablet as well! I used to edit on a small sized one and it was fine for skin retouching :)
I have the same one and I have to plug it in cause it doesn't work with my computer. I guess it's too old because it works on my wife's laptop. But according to the specs it should work. Anyway it's definitely useful for retouching.
@@juliatrotti Thanks for the reply. Would be interesting if it's better or worse than using a dedicated tab like Wacom. All I know is using the mouse for a long time is rough 😋
Wacom Intuos is VERY cheap, yet durable. It's screen is smooth, the pen doesn't need battery nor recharge. But i'm dying to know how to set the buttons in the pen and also in the tablet itself.
When you set up the tablet to work with your computer, it includes software where it has all the options on what to set the buttons to - they are all customisable to suite what you need :)
