Don't let others opinions make you doubt your choice for your kids! You owe no explanation, but it is appreciated for those who thought no stroller is better!! Great advice!!
Why are people so mean? Little kids have little legs. The heat, the walking, the excitement, they get tuckered out quickly. Taking a stroller is a great idea.
I was team stroller back in the day myself! My husband passed away from Non-Hotchkins Lymphoma at 43 yrs young when our son was 4 yrs old. And believe me our strollers were a God send. Even the light weight ones that just fold up and store in the car so well, we loved them all. And yes, agree with you great to hold your kid(s) and your things, drinks, etc. Glad you took the stroller and that the boys got to enjoy the entire Disney park experience and you too. ❤
Super smart, gives them a break, shades them from the heat, let's them take a nap and most of all it helps when having to stand in line for long periods where they tend to lose patience.
Strollers are nice for giving kids a break when they get tired, plus they're nice to have to carry other stuff around as well. I went to Lagoon in Utah with my teen kids and it was weird that I didn't have a stroller to push around and to carry our stuff around lol
never let someone tell you how to take care of your own children you’re beautiful mama and as a mama of a toddler it’s a must when traveling long distances especially in a theme park!
I'm Glad you went to with it! There were so many adults on scooters recent visit. young adults not elderly using electric scooters. same reasons for the breaks.
Wise decision, momma! I had my then 6 year old in a stroller at the mall. He got anxious in crowds and just having his stroller eliminated that. He always started in the stroller, but if it wasn't crowded, he walked. A lady told me that he should have been walking. I turned and said, "Well, I didn't ask you to push it and did you ever think they might have an unseen problem that made the trip easier for the child?" She didn't know how to answer, so she yurned and stomped away.
Only parents will understand. Strollers are annoying as you can't just walk up stairs or fit though the little gift shops as well but they're so good for Zoo's and stuff, I have 4 and my older 2 (5 and 7) had to walk, they were tired and we did take rest stops on seats. They slept really well in the car on the way home. Prams are heavy but it beats trying to carry it all in a backpack that will kill your shoulders at the end of the day. 😊
I MISS having a stroller for my kiddos at Disneyland. I still had my daughter in the stroller at age 6 in Disneyland. It holds everything and there’s so many people around. It’s so much better having a stroller.
I'm on day 3 at my daughter's house. I came to see my 4 year old graduate from pre- K. She has a 2 year old little boy as well. Way more than I can handle. Do whatever you need to do to keep them safe.
My daughter is 5 and i always bring a stroller for theme parks. She gets tired and im not carrying 45lb child on my hip No Thank You lol plus its much easier to carry backpacks and things you buy anyways
Im a 30 year old mom of 2 with chronic pain. Albeit im fairly fit and do workout, I still need a mobility aid on flare days. Little kids have a lot of energy, but nothing close to adult stamina. Even I as someone who used to work 16 hour days on foot alone, still find myself needing a break or needing to take my cane out with me. That's a reasonable accommodation. So is a stroller for a young child who may not always have a place to sit and have a break otherwise. People need to stop putting adult expectations on children. You're 100% right to have a stroller available! Plus they are great for storage of snacks, changes of clothes, meds, etc etc. A stoller also makes walking easier because you have something to lean onto.
I agree with you coz I'm a stroller believer and my grandson used stroller extensively with me which gave us a lot of convenience & safety, so definitely it'll be useful in Disneyland and other places 👍👍👍
When i take my 6 year old on a long walk she always gives in half way, ive always kept a spare stroller for this reason. Never used it but its there if needed🤔
I personally didn’t think any of the comments she showed were rude. When you put your family’s habits on social media and have an enabled comments section, it is normal for people to share their opinions on your lifestyle. And just because they don’t agree with you doesn’t mean they are calling you a bad mom. Just my two cents🤷♀️
I’m betting all the people who say they’re old enough to walk around Disneyland or anywhere else all day have never had a kid in their lives. You lady are the mom I wish I had had, I’m so sorry about your husband but happy you have your little ones
Kids are shorter than us so usually they need to take more steps to keep up with us!!! They run around and have a lot of stuff to process which they do in their sleep! An overly tired child is not fun and two overly children even less!!! On the comment about their friend's kid who wants to walk alone: It's literally a phase in children called maximum effort😅
My sister thought she didn't need a stroller at Disney World with a 4 1/2 y/o and 8y/o. We made it to the entrance before she changed her mind and rented one. My nephews are both autistic (out of a 6 person party, 3 autistics were there because they are like their Iggy). I can see lots of reasons to take a stroller with older kids, especially for full day adventures.
All day of walking and waiting in lines would definitely be a problem for even 5 year olds. She's doing the right thing for her family. Nobody's business.
Really strange that people would think 5 year olds can walk all day through Disneyland. As an adult you need breaks so what do you think someone who’s still growing & developing going to need! Just goes to show how selfish and inconsiderate people are, I don’t doubt that some of those comments have their own kids as well! Very Smart Mom ✨💗✨
I have no kids and I wish I had a stroller at some places, particularly theme parks. People are crazy for thinking your Toyo’s should be walking everywhere at Disney. If someone would push me in one, I’d be down for that.
I spent a week at Disney world in July, we stayed at a resort. We decided to not bring a stroller and just rent one while in the parks. Pro’s to that was not having to deal with it on the bus and in the resort room. Cons was at the end of the day I was holding at least one of my littles at the end of the night and having to make it to our bus stop before the bus took off again. My advice just bring your stroller.😂
I went to Disney world In January. As a baby I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. I spent a day walking and the rest of the week in a wheelchair with my dad making it fun by pushing me! Theirs nothing wrong with being pushed in a wheelchair! Even if I’m 15!
Good call! The stroller was obviously much needed! 😴 The last time we brought a stroller, it ended up being used more to carry things, as the kiddo showed us he didn’t need it! That’s when you’ll know 👍🏻😉
My 2 year old HATES the stroller. She will NOT sit on it. When we went to Disneyland she spent a lot of time on the stroller and even napped on it. She refuses to go on it at the zoo or anywhere else, but at Disneyland that thing was her best friend! We will be bringing it until she literally doesn’t fit in it anymore
Horrible comments! They are def people who have not been to Disneyland/world. No way am I NOT bringing my stroller 😅 (current 4 year old) and even if she’s like 6-7 I’d still consider it 😂… that’s just so many steps! Even for us as adults.
They are your kids, personally I would take one myself just for fact you can keep up w them a lot better and not to mention what you gotta take w you to place.
It’s so funny/upsetting you even need to make a video like this! People need to keep their opinions to themselves… and then they need to try to take young twins to Disneyland!! They’ll be wishing they brought a stroller.
Those comments come from people who clearly don’t have kids and are giving their opinion on something they really don’t know anything about and grumpy old 😂people who remember back in the day when they were left out unattended and played with rusty nails and they turned out just fine 😂.
Can't you make up your own mind why do you need to ask your followers you are the one that's going to be taking care of pushing these kids around right so you need to make up your own mind.
