Thunder, found old footage of my outcast exb, I had way to much power running through the thing. I sometimes regret giving up on it. I did land a hard side landing and blew all the stock tires in a few minutes. I love that you love it! ❤️ Epic as usual my brother! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️🏆

100% the Kraton is a beast,love mine. You don't even need the EXB version. Mine is the BLX RTR with Rpm arms only,stock system even the servo and it takes an absolute beating,I send that thing and it just keeps going. It absolutely outperforms the Xmaxx in every way accept durability in my opinion.

So I would have to agree 💯 with you here. Don’t get me wrong I think the X-Maxx is a beast and I love mine but there’s no way to make up for the weight this has and how it handles because of that. It’s an absolute weapon!!!! I’m running the 780kv Spektrum motor with the Max 5 36/39 gearing in my Kraton EXB and boy she’s lively!! Great video bro 👊👊👍👍

Thanks for helping me make up my mind. Been in RC for years and years with all the "toy" scales.... At almost 60 years of age I finally have the opportunity to step up to 1/5th scale. I've watched many videos on this piece, and this video was very convincing... I'm a conservative driver so it's good to know that if I decide to push this a wee bit it can take it. Great job!!!! :)

I believe 3s and 4s ok for skateparks, anything bigger for grass, dirt and hauling butt just having fun. I do run the Notorious 6s at the skatepark once in awhile like a remote control skateboard with no flips.

Either way I agree these things fly so much better than the xmaxx. I have all 3 the x/o8s/k8s. The k8s flies like no other!!

The thing about skate parks is you have to pretend that it's you on a skateboard. Only practice tricks you know you can land without crashing. It takes practice. If you just go there and hit full throttle the whole time you're gonna break it. Skaters practice every day, it's the same with RC. I prefer 1/8 scale truggies at skate parks. The tekno et48 2.0 jumps, flips and predictably lands better than any rc I've driven so far. I agree about the kraton, durability has as much to do with your driving skills as the car itself.

Hey what’s going on bro, I just built the same truck. I’m having problems with the steering. The truck just does a hard left circle I tried to set sub trim but I had to set it to like -70 for it to go straight. Any suggestions of why this would be? Thanks

Thunder needs to be considered aerial rc acrobatic

RCs are like drones. The smaller ones are all over the place like a tazmanian devil even with flips and crashes. The larger they get, the more stable it is to control. Imo

I would say it has potential to perform that way LOL you definitely need skills to handle this beast this is not a beginner rc. Get the X max first and practice LOLIt definitely blows my X maxx away in distance as well

The steering on the 1/5 kraton and outcast is flawed. I would not recommend this truck because mine has been sitting for 4 of the 6 months I have had it
