I am a Japanese living in Japan. I bought white JADE RS six months ago. Honestly this car is awesome. If you like the look of this car, you won't regret buying it. Above all, this car is fun to drive. I really like this car. I am very happy to see you reviewing this car in a country far away from Japan. sorry for my poor english.
Great review.....indeed jade its an exiting car i've thrice had the opportunity to drive at H.E.K.(2 hybrids and 1 turbo). The hybrid for sure doesn't have the refinement of the turbo but is slightly more efficient. Turbo has a nice progressive torque curve from around 1500rpm and doesnt seem to run out of puff at high rpm (say 3000rpms during hard acceleration) as compared to the hybrid making the car feel more spirited and gutsy on the open road. Suprisingly the hybrid has more horses @160 vs 150. Great work wokabi. Found myself smiling alot during the review moreso towards the end where you want to "smoke" the wish. Ibra's voice is heard calling puss puss puss come here hahaha.😂😂😂😂
Zile whips Toyota Wish imeget kwa hii review.....wueeeh! Another awesome review 👍. It seems Honda is going one or two steps further than Toyota for every vehicle category. Keep up the good job Wokabi and team 👏👏👏👏
worthy successor to the Stream. That feeling you got is what I get driving my 2.0l 150hp Honda Stream RSZ. Handling and power that I rarely feel I need more power. Driving is a joy.
CK rigged this TS(team score)🤣🤣 kwanza Mbugua ameskia kiboko akasema "hot air" score😅....that is that!! Anyway the car deserves. Huku ni vibe, knowledge and right doses of carvercetamol 🔥🔥
Honda's earth dreams engines are quite legendary worldwide and Honda makes very reliable turbo petrol/Gasoline engines than any brand in the world, they will not crack your nerves and head as long as you maintain and service them regularly . This review has been awesome and quite insightful lakini mumetuonea sana sisi watu wa toyota off late but tumechill tu.. we would like a head to head honda jade 1.8L NA versus Toyota wish 1.8L NA ndo tuone nani bingwa since allegedly there is really no turbo charged Toyota wish.
@@kahugumuiruri9057 l agree eventually any engine with a turbo will wear out fast but Honda seems to be fixing the oil delusional problem with newer engines especially zile ziko majuu
@@rwandet1470 kabisa Toyota wish looks Good especially the 2015 model with alloys sport rims. l wish Toyota could redesign or make a facelift of the Toyota wish but with a 1.8L or 2.0L engine that way an enthusiast will have both a family/personal car and a mild performance car that can allegedly eat the Honda jade😂
NA Honda Jade hybrid is equally fast. No wish can beat it. Even the 2 litre. The NA hybrid was marvel engineered - Torque from the low end motor and a high power dual clutch gearbox gives a wish no chance.
Should have tried nyamaing the 2.0 wish ..thaat car with the sport mode locked on and gear lever on M..effortless shifting..redlines at 6600 rpm ..enginee braking iko active sana...honda rs my foot
hi wokabi...i hop ua having a nyc evening..very great insight of the Honda jade and it looks good .Interior iko sawa na bei pia iko sawa but with tym it may end up kuongezeka bei demand ikipanda kama tu venye ya wish ilifanya...Now lets talk about toyota wish .its not an enthusist car for speed performance but its not as lazy as you would think...fine may be it doest pack alot of horse power but for an 1800cc 144hp is enough to get the job done..Now wokabi ukiona bussiness man ana choose kutumia wish kubebea miraa na passengers na ako consistent nayo wewe jua kuna kitu ameona hapo ambayo hapati kwingine. That is better fuel consumption, reliability na bigger boot space..it may be over priced now bt kwa mtu ali buy kitambo kama 1.3m resale value itakuwa sawa akiuza sa hii...wish ata kama imejaa cheap plastics ndani si mbaya sana coz ukibeba mizigo chafu kuosha ni rahisi.. 2nd row seats not cramped up..material ya viti i reckon si poa ata kidogo..si ulete tu review ya wish zge 20w(1800cc trim level S )ama ile 2000cc yake which is a 6 seater we compare na jade....infact ku compare vizuri leta 1800cc ya honda jade N/A vs 1800cc wish (s)
Nice content over there, if you dont mind you can bring back the honda stepwagon.. i want you to add the segment of driving with the boys.. i want that part of 0-100km/h
I wish u could test out the Hybrid too,it can actually do a sub 10second pull because of the low end torque from the battery, the turbo would only catch up between 100 to 140 when the battery clocks out.
Meanwhile there are some Mark X which achieved max torque at 6400rpms. Sob sob sob. Mafuta inakunywa tu ovyo. I want to get a Subaru Impreza S-GT that achieves max torque at 2400rpms. Meanwhile the Jade does max torque from 1600-5000 rpms. I mean, fuel saving yet you have that quick acceleration. The Jade is an amazing car. I'm feeling sad buying a Subaru because of my budget but I would prefer the Jade because Hondas have bullet proof engines lol
Sure. Intelligent Motor+Engine combinations when power is needed. Additionally, the hybrid Jade is far much stable because of the additional weight from the battery and motor. He should additionally review the Honda Jade Hybrid iDCD. The 7 speed dual clutch Auto gearbox could also yield a big difference due to quick-fast shifting of gears.
Wish baana is as slay queen probox😅😅 reliable ustopable it never dies..then si mfanye challenge ya wish na honda stream kwa one review show next time😅😅 toyota vs honda! Anyway that Jade looks nicee👍.
Have been watching this video now when i am High.☘️. I will never be blindfolded by toyota again. This vehicle is the ultimate deal instead of a wish, fielder. A good looking turbo charged Jade RS. BE BLESSED WOKABI Endelea kutuchambulia vitu safi. Mimi toyota sirudi
very wonderful car, with better built quality compared to a Toyota wish, here in Uganda wish is so popular due to its spare parts which can be got from anywhere within the country. if i was given opportunity to choose, I would go with the Honda, but its reliability and availability of spare parts may be a very big challenge in Uganda. thanks
Oooooh, have u ever reviewed Toyota wish? I totally disagree with you wokabi,u can't and u will never compare Toyota wish to that handa, interms of reliability, maintenance and resale value ....hiyo chocha ya caplicity Rudisha kwao
Hehe boss,Honda cars match up if not beat toyotas in every aspect, its predecessor the Honda stream was one of the best cars in terms of resale value,so your mentality is so pre 90s.The value proposition of Honda cars in relation to Toyotas cancels out the resale value argument.
I moved from Toyota to Honda for good BUT,ill play devil's advocate. That thing called turbo hunipa tumbo baridi. Kama ni Isuzu NQR/FRR ya mizigo niko sawa na turbo but family car sina haja ya mbio na nguvu mingi. The other thing I don't like are those single, business class seats. I'd rather have the "bench". Am also wary of the foot break as my foot feels as if it's touching a clutch. Apart from those small issues, hii gari iko sawa and anyway, nothing can satisfy 💯.
Erick....meen you have mentioned the wish more times than Satan is mentioned in church!....kwani tulikufanyia nini? But from your review.....I'm upgrading to the Jade before 2023. Lazima
Question of Reliability of this small engines with turbo charger just to boost power strains the engine but also depending with once style of driving 😌
You have not addressed the issue of turbo n carbon build up thus casting doubt on reliability issue compared to natural aspirated ones. There are some reports that at mileage of 60k there was carbon deposits build up and some units reported increased oil level increase after some time due to air n oil mix up in the engine.
