This clip is awesome. I saw the two of you smiling happily. Eat delicious food and received kindness from Khun Ann's sister and family. This is the charm of Thai people. A place that welcomes foreigners. No matter what country you come from. Thai people are happy to welcome you.❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm Thai. You're right. If you want to experience modernity, go to Bangkok - Phuket - Chiang Mai. If you want adventure and the local way of life. You should go to the remaining 70 provinces of Thailand.
Hi Ellis and Alicia! Ellis, you were making my mouth water when you were introducing all of the dishes on the table. Durian is expensive because it's out of season but the ones that are still available are very expensive! I was wondering if Ann's daughter can speak fluent Thai? Your videos are incredible and you deserve way more subscribers! I love the length of your videos, not too short and not too long. Please keep 'em coming mate!
Hey Kev the food was so good. Yeah that's the most expensive durian we've had in Thailand we've payed 50-90 baht a kilo in the past I was told Chinese have come in and messed it up around here. No she can only speak basic Thai she was born in England and lives there I'm sure she'll learn as she grows up! Appreciate your comments always have a top weekend, 🙏
I'm in Phitsanulok. Big fan of you two. I'm very proud of my city. Hope you two have a wonderfull trip here and take care. By the way, saying the name "pitlok" makes you like a local LOL.
I could never disagree! Other provinces of Thailand with less touristy are nothing like Bangkok in terms of less expensiveness and less vibrant nightlife. But I assure that there are still a lot more stunning things to discover out there.
About the noodle, they didn’t offer tendon, but rather tendon meatball. They have two types of meatballs. One made of pure meat and one made of meat and tendon :)
Hiya. Ellis and Alicia. You two are refreshing to watch. No bull. Real life. Love your content. Lovely tour around the Temple. Your food looked tasty. Ellis, your Thai is fantastic. That durian is expensive. But I have seen that everywhere. Love the night market. The piglets are so cute. Love the hedgehogs. Went in the back door. Rebels. Lol. What a feast. Love the vibes. Granny brought a dish from home. Love that. Great vibes. I love that you both try everything. Great video. Liked. Shared. Happy Monday.
Today you went to the most famous temple in Thailand. There is the most important and the most beautiful Budhdha in Thailand. I like to see you enjoyed eating beef noodles. You can eat a lot of chille more than me. I will follow you every day. Have a nice day.
The price of durian is expensive because the season is almost over and the food on the table is mouth-watering. The food looked very delicious. Bright and clean colors
Hi Ellis and Alicia a short history lesson, Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat and Phra Phuttha Chinnarat (The golden buddha) was founded in 1357 by King Lithai of the Sukhothai kingdom the same timeline with King Edward the 3rd of England. It is considered and well known (including my self) to be the most beautiful buddha statue in all of Thailand anyways thanks for showing us around the food looks tasty as always. :)
I'd like you to go to Nan Province. It is very very nice province. I hope you will enjoy Nan Province. You will see the ancient stove of salt boiling. It was more than 100 years old.
Hello guys, I hope you will travel and make videos in the local areas around Phichit, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phetchabun, Nakhon Sawan. Please explore these provinces.
Trips of Ellis& Alicia wouldn't perfect if they missing Durian of each country :) we're the same durian fans CHEERS!!! My heart so warm and keep smiling each time I watch Big family dining, really great vibes. noodles is the most difficult and complex food to orders in Thailand ,many tourists didnt get in noodle shops. may b this could help. you could try this steps 1. kind of noodle -sen lek (narrow strand rice noodle like in Alicia bowl) -sen yai (wide strand rice noodle) -Ba mii (yellow egg noodle) -sen mii (white hair-strand like rice noodle) -mama (instant noodle strand) -gao lao (no noodle strand) Ellis's dish we always order this with rice bowl 2. kind of soup -nam sai (clearly soup) -nam khon (broth) -tom yum (hot&spice chilli+lime) -hangg (no soup in bowl=dry noodle , but you could ask for small soup bowl for free) 3. how many 4. place to -toong=plastic bag[this mean you want to take home] -charm=bowl [this mean you want to eat at the table shop] choose and then combine it 1+2+3+4 like [sen yai tom yum 2 charm]= 2bowls of hot&spicy wide strand rice noodles.
In ancient times, Phitsanulok was an important capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom. Later, when the power of the Ayutthaya kingdom increased and there was a struggle for power from the dynasties of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya. When Ayutthaya was able to unite the two kingdoms, they often appointed people who were expected to be the next kings to rule the city. Phitsanulok is the gateway to the northern region, the Lanna Kingdom. When the Ayutthaya Kingdom thought of invading the Lanna Kingdom Phitsanulok was therefore an important and powerful city in the northern region before Lanna was merged to become present-day Thailand. Therefore, most of the time, the ruler of this city was someone the king at that time expected to be the next heir to the throne or possibly the heir by blood to rule this city. And he had to be the most trustworthy person because this city was also the first door for enemies to come and attack Ayutthaya.
Oh...I got to travel to Phitsanulok. It is a sister city to Phichit. Because they are close to each other. the bag you see I didn't write it wrong. But it's not polite that teenagers use it (but they want to write in English). When you read it aloud, it's a disrespectful word in Thai.) Thailand's market is really a world kitchen. Have a fun trip. Thank you Khun Ann.
Before buying durian you should ask for ripping level. The more its ripe the more its smell and soft texture. (For me prefer medeium rare, soft and crispy less smell)
My friend and I were in Bangkok for maybe 2 months and there are just too many guys dropping loads in all of the women. Im talking 1000s and 1000s of guys from all over the world. We finally just couldn't deal with all of the guys and moved way out to where we are literally the only 2 white guys around and they still have the go go bars, bars, clubs with terrible DJs playing way out of date music hahah. We love it. We get all of the attention. We are renting a 4 bedroom villa with gate, small swimming pool, very nice covered patio and CCTV cameras. We pay $250 USB each a month. We have a lot of fun and spend a lot of time at the beach and some of the cafe's. We are maybe 85 minutes or so away from Bangkok now and away from all the competition. Prices are also much cheaper here. There are much places to stay. We just extended our visas. We are headed to Columbia next. We plan on moving to Columbia in Feb. We are currently taking spanish language lessons. Trying not to fall in love with this beautiful 22 year old Thai that keeps asking for a baby.
As a matter of fact, my dad is back living there now, after had been in the states for over fifty years, he’d be really happy to see you guys and to use his English again 😄
Finally you no missthe most popular Wat Prasi Mahatad there's the most beautiful Prabuddha Chinnarad Buddha images. I have fun every time when i watch your videos.
The noodle shop vendor still looks very cute young and pretty.😊 As for the first temple to have a golden Buddha statue, it is 666 years old until now. It was built in 1357.😊🙏
9:20 its pretty sweet with the reason, which is they designed for drinking in a cup of ice so when the ice melted it's will be perfectly to drink less sweet and in Thailand ice melted rapidly fast lol 5555
The transportation is amazing we have travelled ourselves to many many province and small towns as seen on the channel! All by bus, train, minivan or hitchhike!
Hey Ellis if both of you still stay phitsanulok I recomment y'all take local train in morning& evening too many local student take local train And I recommnet all of you take local train to phichai station ( kenny's house homestay both of you will love them) Other place take train to sawankhalok it is interesting place Anyway now northern part is hard rainning Take care & safe trips na kab
I also like Sen Lek in noodle soup. Ellis, you ordered Cao Lao which means no noodles. It normally comes with rice and you told her no rice. I am sorry about that. The owner misunderstood your dry noodles order.
You should! There's a beautiful 9-storey pagoda-style temple, lots of lake areas and markets, great Isan food, and you can take a 3-hour train to Nong Khai on the Mekong River for 35 Baht! @@EllisWR
Every country and everywhere you go to this world, there are the beautiful areas n bad/terrible areas of that country! If you step in the nice n beautiful places, then you staying there n share your experience! If you step in the bad place, just get out n don’t go back!😊😊
"...we had no expectations at all for this city here in Northern Thailand. First we explored the beautiful temple complex by the river before going for some legendary beef noodles." If the noodles are "legendary," then you're expecting something.
@@steverosse Another strange comment from a sad old man I really do feel sorry for people like yourself. There are only a handful of videos made from Phitsanulok on RU-vid I wonder where you've seen the same thing? Plenty of people enjoy this video as you can see from the views and comments. I wonder what happened in your life to make you such a rotten human being.
I believe the woman missed understand you when you ordered you have to explain to what exactly you wanted in your noodles soup. I'm sorry that you did get the Noodles that come with it.
