I can’t decide between Berkeley and Cal Poly 😭 I know Berkeley is “better” but that hands-on experience and early major experience at SLO sounds so good
I've been accepted into Cal Poly for construction management recently and I have been binge watching your videos! The information you guys have been proving is super helpful. I am interested in learning more about the Construction Management major at Cal Poly specifically, and would love to watch a video about your experience! :)
Thanks again for sharing. I'm thinking that the CP student body in 72 when I graduated was something like 6000. I graduated number one in my major and number 13 out of the 1300 graduates in 72'. So it was a lot smaller community at the time. I can't imagine 20000 students now. The advantage of being the top graduate in my major I was able to secure my first employment gig 6 months prior to graduation with the US Treasury Department which was a solid career path. Had a lot of great opportunities at Cal Poly and SLO was a great little town to call home for 5 years.
Hey there, I been binge watching your videos about Cal Poly Slo. I'm actually a GC but I don't have a degree, I learned everything through my father mostly him being a contractor for over 20 years and being an apprentice for demo, plumbing, electrical etc... My question is what made you wanna major in construction management?
thanks for watching! my dad was in construction and I've always had a passion for architecture/ design but I could never have been accepted into CP architecture so I just kinda went for the CM program. Plus being a girl and applying for a male dominated major made it easier for me to get in.
I’m not too familiar with those specific departments but engineering/ bio are really great program there so I would assume things in that realm would also be good!
