Because low:I hate you and believe you're so bad no one would send you to a good contract High:man with good respect,I'll say you should do this and this
@@AlexH-yd4vj I like having the young nobleish guy and the dark elf.. myself.. So ....*tragic* what happens when they trust you and it's down to just them..
Lol when I did this quest recently, I overheard his guards talking about going to watch over him so I rushed to look for him and the medicine. I saw him up above on the overlook and I literally had such high acrobatics I just jumped up to him from the pillars and swapped the medicine out. In and out silently Also finding your channel recently has made me start playing oblivion again (never played it much as a kid) and I love it
I really appreciate how much work and dedication you put into your videos. The verbal descriptions and the immersion into the movement in the world and the story links. Also how you explore all dialoge options. I can usually only listen while I'm working, so it is extremely nostalgic to hear everything so well described. It's actually helping me DM for my DnD group to listen to you
Another thing about the fort, there is a battle during the main quest there between the Imperial Legion and Daedra from an Oblivion Gate. I think that battle is also featured in a trailer for the game.
It's pretty amazing how much disposition can affect dialogue in Oblivion. I wouldn't have known about most of this stuff without your videos. Also, I only recently realized that Sutch was supposed to be an entire city (the E3 demo for Oblivion shows it). Seeing this video and knowing the context is like an eye-opening experience. There was so much more effort put into Oblivion than we tend to give credit for.
I was itching for the next part of the story. Thanks for replaying this amazing storyline from a near perfect game. The best quest of all time is finally next!
You mean Summitmist Manor? It's definitely cool for how many different ways you can complete it. My favorites are the Purification and the one where you track down and kill that entire family. Letting the first lady run out of her house and then chasing her is always fun.
I live for your Oblivion videos. It's my favorite game in the series and one I cant help but play again and again. I'm currently playing it now and seem to discover more each playthrough.
You've become my absolute favourite channel for Oblivion lore and quests. I hope you make many more. I like knowing every single outcome and line of dialogue but don't have the time to do everything. So thank you for taking the time to share it with us! Your humour and acting as the player character is so much fun. Thank you fellow Aussie! 🇦🇺
Fort Sutch and Golden Glow estate are probs made by the same guy. Both are one of the few quests to utilise a secret entrance if u enquire further with ur onlivions DB/skyrims Thieves Guild, See vex for more info lol
Cannot wait for the Whodunit quest video there’s sooooo much dialogue but it’s all so interesting and I can’t wait to see how you go about the quest! Subscribed btw
The reason you get paid regardless is possibly because the guild gets paid first. The pay is probably a portion of what the guild takes from accepting the job and the bonus is what the customer is paying out of pocket for you to do.
I would literally creep in the way you barged in at first to forsake the bonus. I would manage to creep in & out the main way you went in at first & get the bonus but man watching this makes me feel so stupid. I always learn something new from your videos, I love them! I’ve never played through the whole dark brotherhood quest line…I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve had to kill all the cheydinhal sanctuary & it’s actually made me feel really sad 😮 gonna wait I think till you get to that point 😢 🌹✨
I looooove these, it’s nice getting a bit of nostalgia from the games I can’t really play anymore. Also the alternate routes are so nice, very detailed and hilarious sometimes 😂
I picked Oblivion to PS3 just a month ago, For The first Time. I played this mission For The first time yesterday And i was wondering this, impeccable timing 👌🏼
I always felt like this quest was kinda cool, but the place was off. The Fort originally was a city, and surprisingly it did have a city there, you can even see in old E3 footage the original Oblivion world map had sutch in this location. You can even see the shadow markings on the ground where stuff were and why the area was so flat. I wonder if the Dark Brotherhood was done last in development and the city of Sutch was cut as a result. Damn shame. Would've been cool!
ugh the DB quests were the best, I remember trying and failing to remain invisible and just ended up getting my @$$ beat left n right and resorting to just running out of there
i always felt that he was bitten by a vampire and was slowly turning and the medicine was keeping him from the final turn but couldn’t cure him so to prevent a war lord vamp with a small army the doctor had him poisoned
There's a certain amusement in killing not only the target of a contract, but the potential contractor as well; both parties lose, and the only winner is the brotherhood and Sithis.
I love you videos, you made me get back into the game again, but I was wondering do you play with any mods? All I have are the unofficial patches and an alternate start mod
Yaknow what's crazy? In my entire time playing TES4, across multiple consoles, over a decade of time, I have never even once had low disposition with any of the Dark Brotherhood members.
It's bizarre hearing your fellow assassins speak with low disposition. Simply being in the guild even with a low personality stat boosts their disposition rather high. I imagine it would take a lot work if not full blown console commands for them to straight up hate you.
I've watched one of these videos before and I've got to say, it's pretty boring (and seems like padding) for you to go through _everyone_ in the Sanctuary's dialogue over and over despite how redundant most of it is. These videos would be much more enjoyable if you kept the Sanctuary dialogue down to only lines that have new information that add to the quest.
