OK, we saw the different output on the meters. How able some explanation of why? Maybe a little demonstration of V=IR of the burden resistor related to the coil, etc?
current transformers are a generic high voltage transformer and as such the secondary has a lot of internal reistance, so the loaded vs unloaded output voltage is very different
Hello Mr. Zeloof, I'm trying to replicate your setup but cannot for the life of me figure out what the yellow candies are. Can you please provide part number? kthx
Thank you for your interest Mr. Samy. Unfortunately, that part of the setup was not well documented as I was like 15 years old at the time of the experiment. Those are likely a retired part anyway so you should look for alternatives www.mcmaster.com/candy/
How dangerous is this when dealing with mains ac running 50 amps.... Turns ratio 2500:1....i choose burden so i can get 24vac out.... And just today I convinced my co worker to not remove burden when running😂
Excellent video. I would love to share this with our substation technicians, but unfortunately the Sublime song in the background contains profanity and I don't think I can share this in a professional environment. I wish this could be reposted without sound.
