Thanks... i desperately wanted a real review on Triban 100 which exposed some of its flaws as well... since the video was in Malyalam i thought i wont understand it... but great to see the subtitles. !! Nice review.
@@thebikepacker6982 thanks bro. Just your take on which hybrid bike to choose as a beginner... Triad X3/X4, 91 Expedition 700, Triban 100, Riverside, Giant or any other bike? My budget is around 30-35k and i need light cycle around 10-12/13 kgs, aluminium frame, shimano gearset. Any recommendations???
I solved the problem with the slopes by a 2x crank 46/30(original was 1x 44t), casette is on the newer triban (model 2020) have 12- 28t , works very well.
@@Xaavi13779 Oh, i have the drop bar Version, bt for flat bar ist The shifters Not so extensive, U also find some Videos on my Channel of my Triban 100
Both are good in general. Triban maintenance kurava pinne nalla quality aan. Firefox durability wise athrem indenn thonnanilla repair vannekkam. But more gears so that's a plus
Yes your point is right.Even I got a Triban .For steep climbs it is not useful. But a road bike is not meant for that purpose. For flat and normal flyovers ,I can't find any fault for this price range. But I found it does'nt carry much speed compared to some othere models like Java silurio etc
Yes bro.... For city riding Triban is perfect in every aspect. Totally value for money. Java is easily better than Triban... Best entry level roadbike for racing as well🙌🏼
@@justanotherviewer6756 Yes... It's gotten a few punctures which is normal for a 25c tyre. But it got 2-3 punctures within 2 weeks of using decathlon tube. NEVER buy decathlon tube. Now I'm using Continental tubes
Yes bro it's compatible. Having a 7 speed cassette on the trainer will be better. I have had issues using wahoo kickr core which had a 9 speed cassette...
There's no need for a mudguard. Mud splashes in rains from other vehicles passing by us is also there. Live with it. You will get used to it and frankly won't mind it with some experience
Just replace the rear cassette with a 14-34T tourney one for 820rs and replace the derailleur to a tourney TY 500 for 900rs if the one that comes with is TY300 since that can only go upto 28T and the 500 can do 11-34T range. That should drop the gear ratio from 1.5 : 1 to 1.3 : 1 which should be much better. Another thing that confused me is how you cant climb a simple incline at 1:35 with 1.5 : 1 gear ratio, when ive climbed proper inclines at 1.75 : 1 (48 - 28) without that much issue (im not built like an athlete btw)
@@thebikepacker6982 actually yours is much lighter than the GMC Denali. I threw out the crappy triple cranks garbage on it, tossed out the shifters as well. Here is a small video of it this is my “Beast Bike” as no one in their right would steal it lol 😂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NKTZgvS-xak.html
@@danfuerthgillis4483 That's a neat bike🔥 So we both have the same gearing but if a steep section comes it's just too much to push through... Waste of energy that could be used later in the ride. Not saying it's impossible to climb steep but just not worth the effort I would say🤷🏽♂️
@@thebikepacker6982 There is one hill around here ( if you could call it a hill i guess) with about 1 km climb at 15% up to a stop at an intersection. I pass dudes on $7000 bikes with this piece of trash bike all the time going up that hill and they are on very lightweight bikes. It's hilarious watching a 250$ bike pull head of some $7000 kits lol. With the 47 ring and the 14/28 I can climb mountains even on this 14 kg bike, only issue is it will be a very boring long ass climb due to the massive weight difference and gears missing. I am at 42 years old so I am still hanging in there with young punks, but on a lightweight bike it's night and on catching up to the younger riders. I have 2 Sava road bikes and a Colnago C60 ( Concept) built by me ( aliexpress frame and parts).
Short ride okke pokan adipoli aan. Maintenance easy aan due to 1×7 cassette. Tyres nalla durability ind... But Decathlon tubes ottum durable alla. I'm using continental tube now low punctures
