Why You Should NOT Buy Xiaomi Phones! 

I'm using Xiaomi 12 pro, my mom is using Redmi k20 pro and dad is using redmi note 11 which will be upgraded Mi 10T 5G which I'm getting for a good price. I've never ever faced any kind of issues in these phones and there are lots of custom roms to try if i get bored with miui 😅. Brands like vivo / oppo doesn't support custom rom's much.

Watching this on my note 5 pro. Still runs pretty well unlike the other devices that launched after that.

never had major problems with Xiaomi, been using multiple Redmi phones since 2017, my redmi note 7 pro bended after high pressure in local bus, even after 6 months Mi service centre completely replaced my phone, a 14000rs ph has been exchanged at 10050 rs in amazon after 3 years, i'm currently using Note 10 pro max and Xiaomi 11 lite ne, at the time of release note 10 pro max's software was extremely bad, but after android 12 update the miui became super smooth, all phones are getting frequent updates. reason I always prefer xiaomi because you can do whatever f*ck you want. using xiaomi's own adb tools you can debloat whole phone, can even stop and delete ad services and other internal spywares.

after 5g has come smartphones price are increased ,the smartphones which came with best specs under 20k now comes in 25k or 30k

Most xiaomi users including me use custom roms. Infact the main reason to buy a xiaomi is to get the independence of doing anything with that device and tweak it to its maximum potential which other brands cannot. Xiaomi with that great hardware+ a greatly optimised custom rom is just fire

I used note 4 for 5 years then shifted to OnePlus 3t but when i purchased my 1st phone it was redmi note 12 pro, its been 1 year using this phone and believe me, Note 4 came in 2017 it was good, But note 12 came in 2023 when everyone was criticising them, but this is perfect for me

No new features, but stable, and am on January patch. iQoo will capture market and lead... Unless moto takes over.

I was using Redmi 9 Prime for last two years, in January this year when i updated my phone from version 12 to 13, network issue started to come for few days. Suddenly after one week my phone was getting restarted every time. I went to MI Service Center, they informed me about motherboard issue and charged me probably 5-6 thousands that i didn't accept and i have switched to another brand. Now my question is if such updates caused to Hardware issues then who will be responsible for that...

I had been using xiaomi phone from 2016 after ditching Samsung for their TouchWiz, never had any issue, my 1st xiaomi phone redmi 3s prime was a king of its segment still running fine, then redmi 6 running aswell, poco m2 pro good one but not satisfied with camera so exchanged on flipkart(15.5k purchased 11.5k exchange price thats too after 20 month) with xiaomi 11i the current one, running like a supra, no problem, but yeah after so many complain on social media etc i am also a little concerned about update so i dont update for the 1st one or two weeks and after watching sufficient reviews i do update.

Even after watching this video i will still purchase Xiaomi phones only 😂 . Using redmi note 4 from 2017. Still works fine. Recently bought redmi note 12 pro. Honestly a superb phone for the price. My mom uses redmi note 13 pro. Thats also superb device. And my dad used xiaomi 13 pro. The best device among the 3 . Will be always a loyal Customer of Xiaomi ❤️❤️

I love MIUI but MIUI have many issues like bugs & update delayed But MIUI So customisable Believe or not MIUI Theme is best in entire Android World & Custom Rooms Availability I used Redmi Note 7S (I faced Ghost Display issue) Currently i use Redmi Note 10S (Not So Many issues) But i still love Xiaomi 💕 Because i also used Realme C2 & Realme 8i (So Ghatiya Build Quality 🤢& Not so clean ui & So Dumb update condition because realme downgrade there phone performance i faced that's why I telling you). The best way to use Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco phones is to use them with custom roms. But Redmi note 12 series came with mediatek processors. Mediatek processors has low custom rom support. I think I will buy Poco X5 pro later but I have to watch long term use reviews and other customer experience and also the custom rom community in it...

My Redmi Note 10 pro died even tho I never dropped it. My phone was inb brand new condition. I bought this phone because I used Redmi note 4 for 5 years. But now Mi is horrible and customer service is also very bad. So I'm never going to buy Mi phones and I'm not going to let any of my family member to buy.

Problems in Xiaomi phones: 1. MIUI ads, few unnecessary apps which should have the option to Uninstall 2. Poor quality Camera after Redmi Note 5 Pro 3. Unreliable Hardware in later phones 4. Costly Service charge ~400 Rs for even a vibrator change (e.g. Vibrator motor issue in Redmi Note 5 pro, vibrator price is ~50 Rs but Service charge is ~400 Rs) 5. if we want to buy only battery, they are not allowing (so one 799 Rs battery cost becomes ~1400 Rs due to mandatory service charge) 6. Denial of service under warranty with small scratches which happens with general usage, Basically they just want to avoid free service 7. In many phone models they didn't provide dedicated SD card slot along with the Dual SIM, mostly they provided Hybrid slot, so when Asus Max Pro M1 was launched, people immediately switched to Asus due to dedicated sd slot reason behind having dedicated slot is whenever any software issue happens and it is not getting switched ON you can not take the data backup, Service center will erase the whole internal storage, but if you have sd slot you can keep your important data in SD card

I am using Realme X phone. Almost 5 years it’s battery is still good. About 80% battery left. Getting 6Hr sot for normal use. My friend who took Xiaomi note 7 pro with me got battery problem after just 2.5 years.😂 He need to change battery with BDT1500. I am still using Realme X. No repair. Running smoothly.

I bought redmi 10 last year in feb and within 10 months I started noticing the issue of ghost screen and it's been one year and the issue has increased more. Even within 5 min, there's the mark. Bought redmi note 10 t 5 g 3 months ago smooth and fast no problems so far got miui 13 update no problems and miui 14 update is on the way my younger brother uses redmi note 7 s which he bought in 2018 still smooth and in good condition no issues redmi is still good budget phone

My note 10 pro's front cam died and I posted on twitter as I have good reach there but my stupidity I uploaded the video on a custom ROM and told it to others in the replies so when Xiaomi official Sandeep Sarma saw it he blamed it on the ROM even tho he very well knows it's their own fault and many people who got this issue on a ROM probably flashed the stock ROM and made a fool of them already

Ive been using Redmi note 10S and ive faced so much bugs with it. Once i turned on second space but changed my mind and deleted it. After that i restarted my phone and it got boot looping. I had no choice other than Factory reset my phone. I lost all my data, i didnt back up anything. That was a bruh moment for redmi. Also youve said that recording for 10 minutes will automatically turn it off and heat up and drain the battery. That is 100% correct. I used to record some videos like vlog or so i used 4k recording and put it on a tripod. i receorded but it was saved upto 8 minutes and the phone as well as the camera was flipping hot. I had to switch off my phone for 30 minutes to cool it down. First when i got my phone i was excited about the updates. But soon i regret updating it to miui 14. The thing i hate most about it is overheating, but theres customization, Its useless. I cant use custom icons or anything. The layout is trash. Ive seen so many customization but they were on nova launchers. No one did a system launcher customization. If i buy a new phone. Ill buy samsung/vivo/iqoo/realme but not redmi or poco related phones. Also, the game space on redmi doesnt work, It makes the phone lag more and drain the battery. the battery capacity is still bad now. It could last 8 hours nonstop gaming but now it only lasts about 2 hours.

Thank god someone talked about the quality of components used by Xiaomi. The PMIC, the UFS, the RAM, the display...literally everything they use is absolutely poor quality and is prone to dying anytime. They use a poor quality PMIC in their MI 11X as well for example. The device can die anytime especially with the poor standards used in their charger. I can't rely on keeping my 2FA tokens on a device which may die any moment. Same was the case with X3 Pro with poor UFS. Their batteries decay faster than the competition contrary to what they claim. And the battery you get is mostly a lottery with actual capacity varying a lot from the typical capacity. Similar thing for green tint in displays. I can go on and on about this and I probably will (but not in a RU-vid comment lol). Xiaomi never compromised their profit margins, they give you bad hardware (not spec wise but component quality wise), and bad software with no support. Their kernel sources are not regularly updated if at all. You are sold a device that is a product of planned obsolescence which will die soon enough after its warranty is over. If yours didn't, congrats you got lucky in the lottery, just pray that it stays that way. Forgot to mention, the products that they sell in India after rebranding the global/chinese ones have the following differences: 1. NFC gone. Tap to Pay, what's that? 2. 5G bands removed. (5G is gonna stay in the name of the product though. 3. Even cheaper components for Indian market. Used iphone 7 plus for just 20 days and sold bcz i cant adjust to ios... Coming to complaints i had a complaint in note 6 pro.. Yellowish tint in display they replaced the display.. So, here its me a xiaomi user !!! well the company wouldnt have paid me for saying this because i aint a celebrity ofcourse. i use mi notebook pro - which my friends denied to buy ki bekaar hoga and trust me it was one of the best decisions under the budget, whether durability, 2.5k display looks way better than full hd of my friends laptop and I do video editing sometimes even with plug. i have used redmi note 4 as my first xiaomi device that made me go for more and it was released in 2017 I can still bet I can play GTA san andreas on that phone pretty much smoothly- upgraded to note 9 pro max being the best camera for me( can see videos in my profile shot from it and judge by yourself) and I compared with it flagships and I never found major difference in quality, my friends used to say me tu iphone use krta kya, frustrated to extent that i need to put watermark in my photography ki its my xiaomi phone actually, now note 12pro plus it slays with everything. And if youre talking about perfection, well nothing on this planet is !!! but xiaomi is a great availability and opportunity to us people under budget.

I just upgraded from 4 year old poco f1 to Xiaomi 11t pro, I choose a one year old phone over any of the new phones, it met my requirements the best. I have been using mi ui since last 7 years and I have no plans to even try others. I have a stock android tablet and I hate the UI there are no features which I consider to be basic in a phone/tablet. I would still recommend Xiaomi. The latest features in android were present in a poco f1 4 years ago.

I purchased Redmi note 12 Pro last week for 19999 from Xiaomi India through Mi store.immediately noticed mobile was overheating and informed customer care and they asked me to visit service centre and produced heating issue and service centre collected my phone and raised replacement request and now informing me to collect same mobile from service centre and they are asking me to reproduce issue once again and telling me what is normal operating temperature. I have reached out GRO support team and not getting justice I have multiple recorded calls and emails as proof. Worst customer service

I am using a mid premium phone from Samsung . Till date, there is no need to wrry about camera, software update, bloatware, and nothing. Its been 3 years now , presently running with the latest Android 13 and the latest security patches.

First Xiaomi needs to work on their MiUI and update policy. It's literally the weakest part. The issue is not with their rebranding phones. Even OnePlus rebrands OPPO phones since the very beginning and sells them in the US. Last year they rebranded Realme phones too. But what differs in OnePlus and Xiaomi is their UI. ColorOS is literally the only Chinese UI which can compete with the likes of OneUI and PixelUI in terms of smooth experience, customisations, features, and stable updates. I still remember there was a time when MiUI used to be better than all the other UIs in the market while Samsung's and Oppo's used to be the worst. Now the game is entirely different. It's MiUI who has become the worst, even FuntouchOS has become better than it. While oppo and Samsung's UIs have become "one of the best" UIs of the Android market.

Dude I have been using Xiaomi phones since 2015 and I have never faced any hardware or software based issues on my Xiaomi phones. previously I used Xiaomi 12 Pro and now I have upgraded to Xiaomi 13 Pro. I didn't face any problems regarding software issues on updates. and please do note that I'm using Xiaomi phones for over 8 years now. And it's my honest opinion on Xiaomi.

I'm using redmi note 8 pro from a very long time, and my experience with it is great, never lagged or never had any issue, also i have mi android tv and i really like the price and specs this company is providing in their products.

I've been a Mi user since early 2017 till 2021. Problem with new Mi : a) Lack of competitive pricing b) Software is not polished, realme ui and color os looks far more eye pleasing. c) Camera image processing is a serious issue on most redmi/mi devices. d) MIUI Bugs. e) In short redmi/mi should completely revamp there MIUI, it no longer excites me like it used to in 2018-19. f) Cheap quality hardware, prone to failure after warranty end.

I am so regreting that I bought a Xiaomi device. The worst UI experience I Ever had. I even have to install third party phone dialer and contacts app in order to use the phone properly.

Being a typical Xiaomi Lover after purchasing Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, I clearly say it's disgusting selfie camera, third claas fake 200 MP back camera, poor battery backup never justify it's 30k price tag And Xiaomi's Service, after sales support is horrible.

I bought last year redmi note 11t 5g and my miui experience with that phone is excellent....no lags or ads...some preloaded apps are there but no any serious bug found....however phone launched with Android 11 and even today phone runs on Android 12 with miui 13

I am already on iPhone 13, Samsung Note 10 lite and OnePlus 11. Apple and Samsung with there timely updates r king's in giving OS & security updates. And almost same for OnePlus, so will not invest in cheaper Chinese brands or any other. They r all capable of HDR and clean OS. And with Google One subscription, much better for editing or modification ur clicks. My other favourite is Motorola, but sad thing, it's only with Flipkart.

I will not buy xiaomi phones again When the battery finishes on my xiaomi redmi and I plug it to recharge it doesnt turn on.... When I was using samsung galaxy and whenever the battery runned out and I plugged it in, it will turn on immediately but withh xiaomi you're screwed. You have to keep trying for hours and then xiaomi runs ads on music players which never happened with samsung.

I use RedMi 9A and it lags too much and automatically opens location and even if I try to disable it, it doesn't gets disabled. I even try to switch off but it doesn't get switched off but even though I switch off it only switches on when I plug it to the charger. Because of its lagging experience my school work is not completed properly. And I have to use it for a long time. MI devices are actually the Worst. BTW I brought it for ₹ 7000 only from Amazon.

Glad i ordered s series instead of redmi note series. I have been using vivo z1 pro since its release and never faced any issue like battery drain, ui bug or glitch, software issues and other problems found on redmi, poco phones. I really don't see the benefit of updating the software version since the phone still functions well without one, let me tell you, updates are a way for companies to degrade the performance, batterylife and other departments of their phones. They say android 12, 13,14 but in reality they are tampering the software by rolling out updates, so that you will keep buying phones after 1-2 years. 😊

My Poco X3 Motherboard got dead after close to 2 yrs of usage. Got it repaired, 3 months after now my battery is swelling badly, it would explode if I dont get it replaced in 1-2 days. Had the same battery issue with my Note 4. Also bugs and my phone keeps hanging and theres alot of glitches, sometimes I click photos and I cant see them in my gallery, volume button glitch etc Never buying poco or mi phones again

I am from Nepal.. I bought Redmi note 10 pro indian variant something 18 months ago .... The phone was fine at the beginning but had some bugs which was acceptable.... But the bugs started increasing not consistently but it was visible.... The software update was in auto update so i am not sure if it's from the update or not... The camera started to lag and soon failed to work.... By the time,the front camera was completely busted and the focus of the front camera didn't work.... The overall camera system was fucked up and I cud do nothing about it because I purchased it from India and here are no service centers... With no choice left,I started using it despite the cameras situation.... But one day,I was using it in a casual way and suddenly the phone went blank....I tried to boot it and do the most possible things but nothing worked ....I went to the mobile repairing shop and got to know that the motherboard had damaged..it will never get fixed...Never ever buy Xiaomi/Redmi devices...I repeat never
