This might be common knowledge, but EX/OD Swagger step is really good. If you hit it, you are guaranteed 2 drinks, although there are some few outliers. And the best part, if it gets blocked, your safe! ( i think it's like -2 on block or sumthin)

Avatars with Jamie's Devil Inside special and his Level 2 super are busted because they can equip gear that increases how much drive bar they regen from all sources, including the restoration of Drive Meter at Drink 4. What I'm saying is I made a Hank Hill, gave him these two moves, and now he has a 16 hit true combo on Guile's moveset using only heavy punches, drive rush canceling, and the drink super *twice* in the combo. Any normal character this is a ToD.
@@Shiratto they gotta equalise the stats of avatar battles, even if it's just at a certain location or from a certain menu. Getting your ass beat because bro is a beefcake doesn't feel fun. You can literally deal your own max health bar in damage to another player and still lose horribly.
Honestly I hope in the next street fighter if Jamie is in it that they just get rid of the whole drink mechanic and just have him at like what would have been 2 drinks for his baseline plus some moves from his higher lvls. He's a unique enough and fun character with all his break dancing that's more than enough to define his character without some gimmick that just holds him back. Plus you could still have a form of it by keeping his lvl 2 super lolol

Bakkai (brake dance move) is actually pretty OP. It's the preferred way in going into level 3 than double palm (only registers as one hit) and it goes under fireballs. If someone throws a fireball and dashes, it's a wrap
Jamie is the best new character in the roster, just sad he's low tier, is only viable if you drink 2 and resets every round, but I still like him, based Jamie gaming

Also, in Blazblue, with no prior communication. In ranked, against other bang players. We would each dash away and taunt each other before fighting. I’ve done this in the past with multiple different bangs. This is way way back to calamity trigger. I don’t know if that exists with Jamie’s drinking though. Would be cool though.
Always be drinking. I be like ok no drinks this round and I look up im at 4 sometimes. But then sometimes I got such cotton mouth. Cammy all over my diving spinning grabbing.
it's one frame safer (-5) than LP or MP palm but the real determinant is still if you're able to space it far enough to not get punished. slower startup also gives your opponent more precious time to react
