Arnold thought test was dirty. He wanted to be the shining hero with the heroic proportions, not the big, hairy, oily villain. More like high D-Bol and Primo here.
Exactly, even if it may not have many physical benefits, its make you feel like a boss, and thats amazing if you wanna be more active and more consistent at the gym too
@@KotteKumar exactly! even if, like me, you aren't aiming at competitive level body building like Arnie but fitness and muscle building, i play front row Rugby, posing is a great way to keep motivated and get a buzz.
More like body dysmorphia inducing. Whenever i flex after a workout and then the pump wears off i feel like shite, in general you feel like shite cause you are a puny waste of oxygen natural.
Its also why the mass monsters we have today are blowing up and fainting on stage 20mins into a competition. They dont train the poses and dont have the stamina to last 60-90min on stage.
@@GrenadeLauncherYT I've personally never cared too much about the science because every few months they seem to have a new finding that's contradictory to the last. So I just focus on good form, progressive overload, and avoiding injury.
He should do a whole Netflix series of his training, nutrition, posing, etc., in-depth, with all the smallest detail he can remember. It is all information that we will lose otherwise.
Yes but without chemical support which everyone like to know! We know his training and nutrition but not the most important the steroids, which, how and when! We don’t know why the Africans and Germans peoples resist more much at steroids like others peoples?
fr, he actually took an interest in bodybuilding as a child because he watched Hercules. after he watched it became his dream to look like him. it’s crazy how one dream took him so far. it’s truly amazing
Man you will get big one day. Just don't do steroids or you will most likely regret it later in life. Unless your gonna make a bunch of money taking steroids never do them.
@@nightprowler6336 be a dick back and suggest a tip or two when the opportunity comes to a receptive client of theirs. Like when the person learning doesn't understand the form of the purpose of the lift and you explain it clearer with a tip. Wait till the owner steps away or backs up
@@zainshaikh527 imagine trying to learn how to workout and getting a personal trainer just for some dickhead to jump in and tell you what to do because they want to stick it to the pt and get an ego boost
actually he is telling wrong reason. Posing strengthens mind muscle connection which strengthens control over a muscle which is highly beneficial for its growth.
Arnie is the definition of dedication and hardwork, no music, little to no technology, no cellphones or social media in short, no one distracted this guy from achieving his goal that is why we all love him!
Arnold: “After every exercise you need to hit the pose” Me: “ok, why though? Is there some benefit?” Arnold: “….It’s so essential” Me: “say less” *Edit* I know the reason is for mind muscle connection, it was just a joke cause Arnold never really went into an explanation. No need to keep repeating it.
bodybuilders need to practice it, personally i would say it only helps with your motivation. Seeing your muscles with a pump makes it that much more enjoyable to train
In another world Arnold Schwarzenegger is a successful investment banker, or one of the greatest boxers of his generation. Dude definitely has the work ethic and humility to be whatever he wants to be tbh
Learned a lot from Arnold.. Read his encyclopedia 2 or 3 times.. I don't do the amount of volume he did but I've learned to engage the targeted muscle and keeping the other muscles out of it much as possible..
@@ace8184 Wow dude. You need to seriously loosen up. Ever heard of impersonating someone? Hint: Like what im literally, obviously doing here in this thread to you directly? You clearly need to get outside more. Have some fun. Wow. Also consider taking an anger management course while you’re at it. Good luck amigo 🍀
I go to the gym, I'm on a diet, and I tell you, this advice is just as important for those who are on a weight journey. Every day I see myself a little bit leaner, just a little bit, healtier, I even see some muscles, and I feel good and it keeps me motivated 💪
Could you imagine going to the gym and everyone is striking poses in the mirrors in between sets? “Traps are lookin shredded there for the most muscular Jimbob” “Still missing those bicep peaks on that back double bicep karen” “Dam Becky! Impressive lat spread!”
So I’m not a narcissistic egomaniac for doing this 😂 obviously it’s like a chicken posing compared to a T-Rex but I’m a happy chicken posing 🐔and that’s what matters! Lol
Posing makes you feel the muscle better, you can visually track your progress, it feels good looking at the progress and it is a legitimate part of the workouts
Amazing that learned this from his own experience, because he’s absolutely right. This is one way to build what’s called the mind-muscle connection, and the stronger that connection is, the more you’ll be able to isolate that muscle and drive that muscle closer to failure.
The fact that cbum thinks he would dominate this Era is funny to me. He might look a little better in some ways but Arnold's posing is what made him great
