#Replay- Great Video. I did the BEIP Tour with Charlotte and 60+ black women expats in 2023, and was educated, had new experiences and a mindset shift. It was my first international solo trip, and it was wonderful. I met some awesome black women from all over. Panama is worth a boots on the ground visit if moving is a consideration, or for vacation.😊
I'm listening on the replay. This was so informative. I learned a great deal. My grandmother is Pamnamanian but I don't know anything thing about her family. She has since passed. I plan to visit soon.
@delle3955 Tabago Island, make sure to look for the lady that does the foot massages. The best I have ever had for $10. Casco Veijo is beautiful its definitely a must see. Also, if you get a chance to go downtown to the Sortis Hotel & Casino, there Spa Services are excellent. And there is a little spot that sells Pizza. Best pizza I have had since I left NYC. Oh yeah, there tea is amazing as well. Every spot makes flavored teas.
Love this video so much. I visited Panama in 2015 to meet my family there for the first time. Will definitely be returning. Am working on my Spanish. Would love to hook up with Charlotte's group when I'm there. ❤
Not just AfroPanamanians not speaking. We lived in Bermuda, it was an expectation to speak/greet everyone known/unknown in passing. Everyone did. Was surprised not to find that culture in Panama City.
I love this conversation!!! I fell in love with Panama when a friend married her Panamanian boo and had her wedding there. Beautiful country with amazing people. Roshida, I will say though, mongoose, snakes, monkeys…they all participate in whatever ecosystem in a way that humans don’t. We don’t add anything anywhere we go 😂
Well ladies...I watched this again and was thinking..they need to come up with a name for me, but then I realized.. I am both Karen and Angie B, so I still need ya'll to come up with a name for me.... I'll wait 😃🤣🤣
😅 mongoose used to be in most Caribbean islands . They were brought to the islands to help control the population of snakes. They are not harmful to humans.
Well, I do think we 🇵🇦 claim owr afro roots, but we do not feel African couse we're too mixed. we're not like them, different cultures at this point. We do feel more like Caribbean black well cooked people! We claim our own history but not throwing where we came from!❤
