This is actually a very common thing in immo+, players like Iso or Phoenix with ultimates will take a weapon into their ults. Nobody wants to Iso ult when they have a sheriff

Someone used this in VCT iirc. Gave their Vandal to Iso, Iso got a kill with his ult, gave the gun back.

I usually share with someone who’s playing better than me/other teammates. Like a Jett or a Reyna that’s getting a lot of kills, and I know that he/she will do more damage with a vandal than me.

I didn't know this was such an unheard of thing??? It happens all the time in my Diamo-Ascen lobbies and it is a completely valid strategy. It's best with phoenix but also characters like Iso or even jett since they can get back if they get to low with a pick.

pros also do this in other situations where you dont want enemies getting your gun

This is what i did. I was iso and my teammate had gum but i dont and i asked for gun to use my ult and i gave it back and we secured the round.

I share guns usually when I swap weapons. Usually on an op round or if im doing a judge rush with raze

In higher ranked lobbies, yes, it is a good strat. In lower ranks, I prefer to keep my gun. A gun in your own hands is better in pepega teammate's hands. Like my smurf account in gold that I use to carry my friends, I prefer to use the gun myself. In my own diamond lobby, I am ok to share it with them.

Now that's a good teammate ... What I do is something else though, if our top frag doesn't have enough credits but I happen to own a vandal, I just give it to em and they either drop me a weaker or cheaper gun for the round. This guaranteed me round wins 87% of the time.

I remember when I was playing with to of my friends and the exact scenario occurred, one of my friends had a ghost and the other had a vandal, some how he baited the other to give him the vandal just to look at the skin and yea he did not get it back. What happened? Oh you know just got a casual ace (btw this was his third time playing the game)

No it's not use gun and shoot. Game is about headshot luck fr. They did not make the quality combat system that csgo has. It's WAYYY worse.

I actually did the opposite thing. I was an iso, and I didn't have enough money. So i borrowed a gun and used my ult to kill an enemy, then gave back the gun.

Phoenix has more kills than me, and offers to return my gun after ult? Buddy.... No. Drop your sheriff to me, keep the vandal. He even got kills while ulting 😂 he earned it

my iso had ult around round 5 (we were down 1-3) but didnt have enough to full buy so he asked if he could borrow my vandal so he could win his ult. bro came back in like 3 seconds, insta dropped the ak, and went afk for the rest of the game. we won 13-5😭

I don't get teammates like that bro. When I play duelist, I get shit controllers/initiators/sentinels. When I play initiator/controller/sentinel, I get trash duelists.

If you’re not willing to sacrifice like this then you’re not focused on winning. You’re focused on your own stats. It’s a team game. Do what’s needed to help the team. I’ve dropped vandals for teammates that couldn’t afford and we’re having a better game just for that reason alone. It happens. Not the end of the world.

Same thing happened to me today on abyss, my pheonix said to give me the gun, and then he ulted and cleared A site and got 2 picks and gave me the gun back, this strat is good for a normal round too (only if the pheonix is playing good/ is not toxic and supporting others.

As a phoenix main, my teammates have never dropped me their vandal in similar situations
