This looked like my typical match of recent time. Sitting patiently observing others winning their hands while you're waiting for that ONE hand that will never happen. And the worst thing about this is that you knew on beginning of that match already, you felt it in your bones that the tile flow will be against you. You just want to leave, but its too late so you have to suffer that despair feeling from beginning till the end. Luckily, this game sometimes allow the exact opposite, when you feel that this is your match and then you win, even if you don't want to because you've had enough and want to take the happy cat smiley and leave. And that is why I still find worth to play this game, because some lesson is learnt in both of those situations.
I just got my 1st haneman today with all simples, guy kan and I got the 2 golden Dora (?) on 2 triplets, I'm ranked novice 3*, it was a very satisfying exeperience
14:20 hurts LOL perhaps the east wind is worth keeping over other tiles because its safer to discard later, would be a decent wait to finish 7 pairs, and it is unlikely people still have it in their hand like other tiles so there might actually be more in the pool
All it takes is one deal in…. And you just can’t catch up. Sincerely stuck in expert 1. Was 50 points from expert 2 and I’ve fallen back to the starting points. Sometimes you get salt like Niagara Falls instead of good tiles
You sound like you need a break. How about giving the channel over to your friend, Yu Dong. From your tales, he seems like an aggressive, rebellious guy with no respect for mahjong orthodoxy and meta. I'm sure his shields down push everything journey from the depths of Novice would be magical ;)
