What do you do if you are in the middle of your testimony? Do you share while you are going through?

In this scenario, it is best to be led by the Holy Spirit. I believe in transparency but also wisdom. I've shared while in the midst of a testimony sharing the struggles and the hardships but also the prayer strategy and the grace and love God shows in the midst, so in short but led but not ashamed.
