Hello I recently bought iPad air 11 inch M2. But i have been observing that the battery drains too fast. Within 3 hours it got from 88 to 40 percent. Is it normal, can anyone please help?

if you need Apple Pencil Pro, 2 more years of OS updates, 80% charge limit function, and a landscape camera for video zoom calls, then M2 iPad Air is the cheapest option to get sadly because the M4 is a huge jump in price
@@imSpixel I’m very pleased. My hubby surprised me with all new Apple stuff, just a few weeks apart. IPhone 15 plus, Apple Watch 9 and this new ipad. Oh, and a new DYSON CORDLESS VAC! He’s a Prince. 😍
5:18 is just wrong. People keep their devices as long as they can. People keep better devices for longer. I'd rather buy a $600 iPad every 6 years than a $400 iPad every 3 years.
“A shocking number of people upgrade their phones every year (11.89%), and 4.28% purchase a new phone every six months. Most cell phone users (55.47%) upgrade their phones every two to three years” - Consumer Affairs report 2024. www.consumeraffairs.com/cell_phones/cell-phone-statistics.html#:~:text=A%20shocking%20number%20of%20people,every%20two%20to%20three%20years. Though this talks about cellphones mostly the stats for tablets aren’t too different either
@@imSpixelTablets and phones are completely different products. You take your phone out with you every day, everywhere. The use of tablets make them so that they are much less likely to get damaged or lost. Could you not find statistics for that?
iPads get updated MORE than iPhones. for example, the iPad air 2 and the iPhone 6 both came out in 2014: the iPhone 6 got updated until ios 12 (until 2018), while the iPad air 2 got updated until ios 15 (until 2021)... so iPhones have 4-6 years of updates, while iPads have 7-8 years of updates
Still happily using my 2020 11" iPad Pro every day, I see no real reason to get a new one. My previous one, a 2012 iPad (3rd gen), is also still functional, albeit not very useful at this point.

I thought the same. But if you want to buy new, the price difference isn’t worth it. Sites like Adoroma (or outright purchase from Verizon or ATT) is only $100 less than the M4 version… at least for the version I need. 1TB, WiFi and Cellular 11”.
i am a digital artist and at first i wanted to get a refurbished ipad air 4th but i came across the m2 air and felt it would be better for my creative tasks such as procreate, illustrator and clip studio paint, and ram plays a heavy factor when using these apps cuz i use alot of layers in my creative process. I wanted to know if it would be worth going for the 11" m2 base model, its just a 100 dollar difference with the air 4th 256gb?
If you are an artist then I’d recommend you to go with with M2 air because it’s definitely more powerful so it’s gonna run better for sure for what you are going to be using it for, and it will work with the new Apple Pencil as well so that would be nice for you too! And the base model M2 air has 128gb of storage which I think is not bad but if u need more you can always get an external SSD and connect it to the iPad. Hope this helps :)
I upgraded This iPad 2 weeks ago from the air 4 . This air m2 is just suck! I Only sketch on Procreate for 8 mnt. And the iPad si aleeady hot in Camera area. I Will sell This .
