I test out a dirty, cleaned, and aftermarket 72 Pin Connector for the NTSC NES. I originally made this for an eBay buyer but figured it may be useful information for others.
Can you describe how you fix the 72 pin connector to get it working every time? I took mine out and cleaned it plus bent the pins up and I can get it to work but have to still fidget with it.
What works for me is to clean the games really well with a a tip and alcohol. Once you clean the pin connector, don’t forget to make sure the games are clean otherwise the connector will get dirty again.
I used the 1 up Console cleaner and the Cartridge cleaner. theres a bundle you can get for 29 dollars. My NES works pretty much first try for every game now, its awesome.
