Sleep Apnea is no joke. I know someone who died from it. Thanks for sharing this. If you wake up really groggy in the morning and have a sore throat, get a sleep study done, it can save your life.
@@jonathanbryant5806 No, I have Sleep Apnea, got treatment, and am living better because of it. No point in people dying needlessly when treatments are out there.
For example, my dad and my grandpa are victims of Apnea and they got a sleep test and now they are using a machine to help them to breath while sleeping.
We sending this to our dads with this one🗣️🔥 Edit:TYSMM GUYS FOR 899 LIKES✨✨✨ Edit: OMG??? ALMOST AT 1K OML TYSM GUYSSS!!! edit: OMG WE MADE IT!! 1K LIKES??? MOM I'M FAMOUS!!!
@@giin97basically the same thing in this situation because if you are intensely snoring there is likely a reason for that, making it a sign, but it can probably make it worse, so its also a cause.
nursing student here. This is called sleep apnea (condition where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep). One consequence of sleep apnea is high blood pressure. How? during sleep apnea the body experiences oxygen deprivation and stress which releases the hormone adrenaline (raises blood pressure and heart rate). If left untreated, high blood pressure can put extra strain on the right side of the heart, which pumps blood to the lungs to pick up oxygen. Over time this can develop into right sided heart failure (heart struggles to pump blood into lungs) . And because the right side of the heart contains the Sinoatrial node (generates electrical impulses that initiate each heart beat), heart rhythm can be disrupted and lead to arrhythmia which lead to stroke. So if you suspect sleep apnea go see your dr and they'll do a sleep test, Nocturnal polysomnography, you're hooked up to equipment that monitors heart, lungs, and brain. Sleep apena can be fixed by losing weight or by using a cpap. It's uncomfortable but it's better than then living through this shit 😂
@@randomshorts6862sleep apnea is primarily associated with weight and age. Essentially, it's your throat collapsing under its own weight when your body relaxes, blocking it off and preventing you from getting air. As you gain weight, there's more mass in your throat for gravity to pull down on, and as you get older your muscle tone weakens making it collapse more easily. So yes, weight loss can absolutely help, but it's not an end all/be all. You can be tiny and have terrible apnea because your throat won't stay open, or you can be quite large but your airway manages to resist gravity. That's obstructive apnea, by the way, the most common kind. There's also central apnea, but that's mainly in bad heart patients and is a whole other bag of worms.
My husband wakes up gasping for air. It's so scary 😨 it sounds so loud and he always looks frightend. It's been 8 yrs and I stay awake every night to make sure he's okay. If he stops snoring and breathing I wake in up and he finally starts breathing. I love him and I don't want to lose him. But he never wants to go to the doctor 😢
If he wakes up gasping for air and refuses treatment, there's not much you can do. Rest assured that taking care of him ain't your responsibility girl. Some people are like that.
you should really try to convince him. my father had it and it essentially kept his brain awake, getting him about an hour of rest for ever 4 according to the doctors. it was on course to be worse but thankfully it was spotted and dealt with before that happened. try to convince your husband or it could really be bad
A good cure to it: 1) breathe from nose always (exceptions : during workout/ exercise) 2) bhramhari pranayam (Bee hum) 3) anulom vilom pranayam (alternate nostril breathing) These 3 things also improve face structure And last two are good for mind and deep sleep
@channimation Yep it's the uvula. Also, @leoborge3432 you're wrong, however, the tongue does get involved. It happens mostly with people who are in most cases are obese and or have large tongues which if you can see at the animation; the back of the tongue could get in the way and obstruct the airway. Most cases are associated with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and we usually use CPAP or BiPAP. There are still more things to consider so please consult with a Somnologist (Sleep Doctor)
In islam we believe that sleeping is being half dead and that's why when we wake up we're supposed to say "ALHAMDULILLAH ALLADHIY AHYAANA BAADA MAA AMAATANA WAILAIHIN NUSHUUR"
*SLEEPING IN YOUR RIGHT SIDE IS A SUNNAH* Prophet ﷺ said: “When you go to bed, do wudu as if for prayer, then lie down on your right side…” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, al-Wudu, 239)
When it is too severe, it wakes you up several times during your sleep. This makes your heart work harder. It hypertrophies and can cause heart complications that have caused early death
I'm in my room with my sleeping parents and the moment it says that the air passing through the relaxed tissue creates the snore I immediately listened to my parents snoring lmao.
