this ac system control head communicates with an AC AMPLIFIER and engine computer before signaling ac compressor. Freon on this 07 2az-fe holds 19oz of Freon.
Very Good information friend. Although you explained it better at the end, My only question is what determined for you that the compressor was bad ? ie how did you know it was Not compressing or kicking on/off ect? Can this be determined without the bi-directional tool? Thank you for this video and information
When you disconnect the high pressure sensor or at least the sensor that’s on the high pressure side or the two wire plug from the condenser itself it turns off your evaporator or radiator fans that the change in idle so the car does not overheat..
They did a freon recovery on my 2009 Toyota Avalon but still I have no cold air my AC clutch is engaging. But hot air only I have good pressure and freon. Please any advice will help. Thank you 🙏🏽
Anyone who has the bi deirectional screen tool will not need to look at this videomost trhe the time the viewer just keeps looking at the tool screen which is meaningless for someone who does not have it
I have an 07 and when i turn on the ac the compressor works, i have cold air only when the car is moving, but the fans do not turn on( they do with engine temp) and the idle doesnt go up either, what sensor or wire should i check because i cant find the exact problem.. If i unplug the pressure sensor the compressor shuts off
@PRONET111589 try swapping out fan relay 3 with 2 or 1 and sew if a change occurs. Pretty much after this, I'll need more inept info. You'll have to log into the engine computer, go into live data and look for fan operation command state when ac is activated. This system isn't built like the 90s. It's computer control. I'll say, the good thing is your ac is working and you have command and activation Not knowing the in and out of your car, I'm assuming no one ran wires that bypass anything
@@partsshooter ill try swapping them, i did test them direct with 12v and all 3 click, tomorrow ill look for someone with a scan tool and check live data, the ac control might be the issue.. if i hotwire a fused signal to the #3 relay to actívate the fans with the ac on do i risk a bigger isue?
@PRONET111589 based on the wiring diagram I'm looking at.... Fan Relay 3, pin 2 is computer control fan low. Ground signal from pcm control this. Fan Relay 1, pin 2 on Relay is fan high. Computer control this by sending ground signal. Basically, you'll use a test light and look for control wire to illuminate. If this doesn't work when you activate ac, go to pcm in engine bay. Pins 21 RED LOW, pin 22 White HIGH are those fan controls. I'd check computer live data 1st and ac fan control signal at Relay before I test pcm wiring. It's easier.
I have an 07 Camry. My mother gad the Compressor replaced and Its still not cooling? I had a test light on the AC and it getting power tested low pressure switch has power but one thing that wont power on is the condenser? Any ideas?
Where did you find that AC relay? Pulled the dash and replaced my evaporator and now the AC and heat is no longer running, at the very least the compressor is not engaging. The rear defrost button also blinks 11 times when starting after not being driven in a couple hours, which makes me think it's an electrical fault.
Of everything that's not working, worked before you removed everything, suspect human error and recheck your work. Seem like you didn't plug something back in, left a ground wire out, or damage a component during removal/installing. If you have a factory compatible scan tool. Access the HVAC module and see what conditions aren't satisfied. Or body control module for codes. Then this should give answers. If you don't have this, simply check your work
