My phone was fine and it always goes bad after I update it. I feel this is a tactic companies use where they purposely slow down or put something in your phone so you buy a new one. I can't never keep a phone for more than a year that runs smoothly.

My phone is getting slow even though I've had it for around 7 or 8 months

Excellent video, thank you. I learned a lot. On my Samsung tablet I installed a large capacity SD card, but my system seems to largely ignore it. Can you provide instruction on how to switch routine storage over to the SD card, please? That would take quite a load off my internal memory which, I am sure, would help speed.

Thanks so much for the tips. I do know the things you said some, but don't always practice them. Seems companies are finally helping us by giving more factory storage and ram so to aid us in having a more congested os. Thanks for your video.

Why does it matter if you shut down the phone for one hour or just reeboot?

The youtube upgrade has caused stuttering in my nine ball app. If I toggle between two screens while yt is running, returning to yt takes a full 2-3 seconds to repaint . . . I hate the update. And no way android will allow me to restore my older yt version or download my earlier version . . . which I'm not sure how old or what version it was I was using before.

how do you keep apps from starting on boot? There's always apps running in the background. Even when you kill them they might pop up again or sometimes apps run mutiple tasks at once.

I have mine for almost three years already but it got slower after the update 😢

My galaxy S Duos which I recently gave the "bend test" after and upgrade got chrome on it. The problem is that even right after a complete reset and reinstalation of android it was never able to run chrome as it overflowed the memory before reaching the startup page. Why do all phone come with only chrome and why would samsung give me this update if it totally unsupported by my phone. Also my ISP has a service where I can connect as a guest to any router of this ISP wherever I am but Chrome does detect the redirection to the login page and thus cannot connect to it.

Isn't it at least to some extent a blessing in disguise that an Android phone only has on average about two software updates? That way, it tends not to end up with an update that it can't handle?

I have a YU Yunique. I found the Official YU-OPEN OS (Stable) for my Phone. The question is that should I Flash that ROM to get Android M or just stick with Android L ?

to many round round just say back up your data then factory reset the phone it is just like on any windows PC / mac / linux it is equivalent to re-format and re-instaltion of your OS.

I always have extra memory. I think it's certain apps using too much cpu in the back ground. On windows you just check task manager but there's no way to do it on mobile!

You are not quite right from the start if the video my apps are all restored and with the same data storage as on the previous phone( a lot) but my phone still slows down after few months....
