How about Primary attack dmg magic bonus? Shall we focus on that as well?

I did 95 million damage in 60 seconds on my 2.1k res BK after getting the new shoulder, main and off hand essence. Unfortunately i reforeged all my gear from the 100% damage increase to get summon damage and beneficial increases since i was playing necro for a month. So there was definitely another potential 10 million damage to be had in a minute since i currently have no family bonus. The reforges was a mistake listening to RU-vidbers reforge suggestion. The 100% damage on all gear will reduce it to like 8 sec cd with vithus and beneficial duration on gear u can extend it further. I do not have the resources to undo the reforges atm. Side not i was 28% crit hit replaced 1 weapon that had primary attack damage/item damage because it was the new main hand essence putting me at 24% crit hit during testing. But i have a rank 8 cut throat for 20% crit hit so i think at that point i can sacrifice some crit hit for more primary attack damage. Also sitting at 49% armor pen and something like 25% potency.

Focusing on combat rating is important until you are over the minimal combat rating for raid bosses you're farming. Then I agree that you have to choose magic attributes over combat rating. The WB I'm in I consistently get chests of glory even though there are other members who have higher resonance than me even though we're both the same class.

Prolly cause resonense only effects base attrib on gear, i.e. life and dmg. Where str, int, ect ect makes much more diff, and crit makes even more. So, pieces with triple sockets buffs the secondary and tertiary attributes, which are much more valuable.

Hi Apollyon, first of all don't mind the haters your content is amazing. My Resistance and Potency is same as yours but my Armor and Armor Penetration is only 1800. My Horadrim is quite high can you maybe tell me where all your armor pen comes from and maybe what all contributes to it? Thank you!

crit chance and crit damage is always a most you will start dealing alot more damage at one point i had 20,20% both and i was dealing some crazy hit crit

While you are not wrong i feel like new f2p player shold still focused on cr as we are missing tons of them. My cr now can only barely do inf2 dg even i am very active.

Crit chance is important but it makes less of a difference if u have low crit dmg from magic attributes, reforges, and armor Penn. Vice versa having 40% crit dmg and 3k armor Penn isn't as impactful if u only have the base 3% crit chance. Also the pieces u were comparing wasn't a fair fight bc the crit chance one also had str, which inc your base dmg, so obviously your dps will be higher when using it. To be clear I agree with everything you're saying but that test was a bit disingenuous.

what u forgett is only valid for pve cuz mother lament is nerfed af on BG

2.4 Res BK here, damage focus build, stats, leg gems. 54mill damage in 30 seconds to test dummy.

You also lost strength

Pve melts anyway, it's easy. The REAL damage that matters is pvp damage. For me my entire bk build and gems are pvp oriented. RU-vidrs keep flexing pve builds like it really matters but no offense..it doesn't

Ban all bk.

When you switch gear you lose strength and it become willpower.

Because the game sucks, it's that simple. Plus you're most likely a paid promoter.
