I'm afraid you're exactly right But accepting a total stranger to sleep in your house is probably not a good idea

Great idea! When I went to University and I was a freshman, our professor told us I visit Europe cities every weekend and I can really recommend that! He became older and he gave us some life advice, I understand him now better. So far, I am looking for a software engineer job and still struggle with it! I hope I will get hired a day and visit some cities like Salt Lake City, Redding, Boulder, Denver, LA(Some unique places), SF, and somewhere and try with someone. That's a great idea Explain why I want to hang out with him/her and tell people "I'm trying to go out of my comfort zone" and I believe that we will find some friendly and lovely person a day Life is adventure and I know this comfort zone kill us. I am in a loop, leave watch shorts, watch shorts, leave hang out on the dating apps and delete it, download dating apps, and regret it. I felt love in love a with girl and I couldn't explain myself and f.. up. I will go out in this loop a day and I will leave a comment here.

Everyone's life is so boring. This society is an endless cliche 1) You are born as a child you cry endlessly until you get tired. 2) When the nurse / doctor says you can go home you'll be home celebrated by your own family then because you're a kid your body is not yet well developed you'll just sleep or stare in the ceiling of your house from your crib. 3) Then you grow up you are now 5-7 yrs old playing your robot toys / doll house depends on your gender & preferences. While you're doing that you'll be interupted by your parents by asking question such as " What do you wanna be when you grow up?" Something that dosen't concern you yet so you just answer anything that comes out of your mind "I wanna be a ship captain." I wanna be sailing Queen Mary 2 I'll be in command of a huge crew." Then your friends came in told you to come play with them. One of the bully kids bullys you because he / she keeps on losing at you. You also get punished for coming home late because you were having so much fun with your friends. 4) Fast forward you are now in high school. Be a popular kid who breaks the rules or be a goody too shoes who's a nerd loves homework & get beat up, locked in the drawer, bullied in a public restroom, etc. Chances are you also find yourself an attractive young lady probably the same age as you. You either try to impress her with your dumb stuff or fail misserably lock yourself in your room & cry all day with an emote song. You can date her by stealing money from your parents or wait till you graduate & get a job or get a part time job. 5) Now let us fast forward a bit further. CONGRATULATIONS you have now graduated college. Your parents wether their rich or just have a not so high ammount of money gave you a key here is your very first car enjoy! You also get a driving lisence to learn to drive that car. Your girlfriend now your fiance got to experience a ride with your brand new car. Then you 2 went somewhere romantic you 2 kissed & decided to go home to decide your wedding. 6) Here's your wedding day. Finally after a long time of sleeping alone you will never be alone again. You are so overwhelmed you see your bride in the other room in her gorgeous dress preparing to march to her new husband. You on the otherhand realized after this day nothing is ever going to be the same ever again you'll live in a new house with your partner, the nights are going to be different, you'll watch more romantic movies, etc. So before you march in there you had a panic attack & ask to go to the bathroom. Then you pull yourself together got a little nervous about the dance & your wedding vows but eventually you got past through that. Your day has been long since this is the first time you had a wife. 7) Fastforward a few months after you got married your wife announced to you as she got out of the bathroom that she has a baby. You shouted for joy or keep it to yourself. 8) You took care of her & her child. Your parents & inlaws also helped of course. Then after a few months she is on a hospital being rushed to the delivery room. 9) You are scared what if she didn't make it? What if there are complications. But thankfully it was a success. 10) Fastforward you celebrated your kid's 1year birthday. The relatives, cousins, inlaws, ofcourse you & your wife is in there. Your wife talks to her mother about her horrific experience all day then it's time to go home. Everyone went home it's just you, the kid, & your wife on the house. You are getting ready for bed while your wife put your kid to sleep. 11) Your kid is now & yrs old he is curious about everything. He touches everything probably destroys most of it. There's probably shouting & breaking of plates, glasses & vases thanks to your wife taking her anger all over the house. 12) Your kid is now teenager. Of course teenager are rebelious. He will get out of the house to date a girl probably doing something dumb probably due to peer pressure. You'll do the right thing brake them up he will lock himself in the room for the whole day & refuse to talk to you. 13) Your kid is experiencing puberty mood swings, pimples, growth of beard he is probably looking very much like you. 14) Your kid was now in college you & your wife is probably planning on renting a dorn for him to live to focus on studying. 15) You & your wife probably don't love the change. Your son is not home eating breakfast, lunch or dinner with you & he only go home on weekend. 16) He is now graduated & preparing for job interview. He is thankfully accepted to the job & you 2 go out & celebrate. 17) Your son introduced a lady to you & your wife. That is your future daughter in law. They got married & you got 2 grandkids. 18) You & your wife helped your son & his wife take care of your grand kinds. Of course there's the belt again & crying & yelling. 19) You are forced to retire due to old age. 20) You decide to start a business. You & your wife agreed to start a small store near your house. If your grandkids don't have classes they guard the shop. 21) Your brain is getting rusty you forget important things such as drinking your vitamins & medicine. 22) You decide to write your last will & testament. 23) You died in your deathbed due to aging while your wife tells her love story to your grand kids. 24) She had suitors her age but then soon followed in the grave. Conclusion: Life is boring & predictable. Most people wished that life is endless & happy forever but honestly that's boring most people wish for immortality but me I'm just glad no one is immortal because I'll probably spend the immortality killing myself of boredom. PS: I don't have wife or children but I predict all those things because that's how life is.

This world is borinhg,Same shit everyday,I just don't even know why am here,am 20 years now,and I don't know what the point of life,Feels like am in a stimulation or something,controlled Hated,Trying to be happy but it ain't coming,watch motivation videos to boost myself but none ain't coming,Never had a girlfriend,it ain't like can't get one,But I realised,In this world we keep living the same life over and over again,100 years from now we will all be dead,So why did God bring us here to suffer,I know am not special,and none of us on this earth us special,I just don't know where to Go right now,Am stuck with my demons,Am someone who don't take drugs or alchohol,So it really much harder to cope with life,All I want is to be appreciated and loved,But No,I think am an outcast in this world,Am alone,I will just go far away from everyone and everything,After all we all Going 6ft deep alone,LIFE

I did something similar 20 years ago when I was 27 to get over my shyness and my stutter. I walked around my neighboorhood every Sunday night for a month just knocking on doors of people in my neighborhood just to say hi. They probably thought I was crazy but it worked and got me over it.

Another masterpiece. Excellent. Mitch. I've been following you for some time now and I can't help thinking that you may be oversimplifying life in most of these videos you make. I, for instance, am interested in very little in the world. But from time to time, I find some passion in something and I become the most determined, obstinate person on the planet. What I've realised is that nearly all the time, after I get the thing I want, I loose interest in the thing. I just pride myself of being able to obtain or achieve it but I'm not actually excited about the thing itself anymore. I hope you get my point. This is how I've been my whole life, in every aspect of life. In my academics in school, in social situations, financially, in everything. I'm in my 20s and I still don't have any career of interest. And, like I said, even if I'm super interested in the thing, it'll still fade. And one aspect of life in which this really affects me is dating and relationship s. I just don't find much interested in people to try and get close enough to someone or allow them close to me enough to form any attachment. I'm so uninterested in life that I feel death would be an interesting thing and not the sad affair people view it to be. And that leads to suicidal thoughts. I don't know if you could help me do something about this or if something is just wrong with me but I'd be grateful for a response. Anyone with similar concerns should comment on my comment to get Mitch's attention. PS: I know people who do most of the things Mitch says and get all they want and live their lives by Mitch's principals who still die unhappy about these very same achievements.
@sandrabrown1130
@sandrabrown1130 9 месяцев назад
You are brave to be so honest. Many people, even when trying new things, still feel what they would identify as an emptiness. The excitement, if any, fades, and there is still this daily lull that lingers over their lives. You are ahead of the game because it seems you know yourself well enough to identify patterns in your life. I think you have described most people. But as I get older, I am learning that life is about constantly making things happen (and not waiting for something to happen that interests you), and that can be exhausting! I have found that it makes a real difference in my life to do everything out of LOVE and to identify a sense of purpose. And to avoid just doing something for yourself, but do things to keep yourself healthy mentally and physically, so that you can be available others so you can make their day, their life, a little better. I wish you the best and if Mitch never sees this comment, I personally appreciated it as it encouraged (challenged) me to self-erflect!

Hey! I felt the same thing you're feeling,,being shortly interested in a thing that previously meant everything to me.I got mental issues that later landed me to drugs and finally ended in a REHABILITATION centre..I tend to imagine everything you're talking about and they all make alot of sense to me.All I can't say to you is this. Life is sweet and it's what you make it.If you want it to be sad. Then it will be.. The choice is yours buddy

This is really true and I can relate with this so much. We do tend to fall into the ''Comfort'' trap as it is the SAFE and EASY was of living our lives - we always look at others and wonder ''What if'' or ''How did they manage to do that'' ... Thank you for taking the time to upload this video and create this understanding that sometimes you just need to get out of this ''Comfort Zone'' and get uncomfortable, to start really creating meaning in your own life.

@@lubokanev7436 Andrew Huberman & Anna podcast is the one to learn from, once you understand dopamine overstimulation and what the brain do to regulate it and why we get the cravings that we do you'll understand everything about motivation and anticipation....what's left is to developp a healthy routine enough for the brain to produce the natural amount of dopamine again and channel it into healthier habit (Andrew Huberman is the one to follow for these types of advices), there are extensions to use to block certain ressources but you have to have the intention and a great WHY for this to work.
