"idk how Asuka players have fun" It's the satisfaction of blowing someone up caused they pressed at the wrong time. The dopamine hits when I land a sabaki, a counter hit, a whiff punish, etc. It's great because I know it makes the opponent feel slightly stupid for getting hit by them.
Really? I feel like bryan is one of the characters people would gave to be really aware with due to a lot of his slow moves and lack of panic buttons. Maybe wake-up wr3 counter hit is just too good lol
You shouldn't always respect frames. If you know the opponent likes to use frame advantage to throw big moves then it's an opportunity to take your turn back and maybe a counterhit. Dragunov constantly has frame advantage, and if you always respect him it's a good way to get chipped to death. Most of the times there are better counterplays, but sometimes you just gotta show some disrespect. Although I'll it to you if they constantly press into disadvantage.
quick comment on my character (xiaoyu) - Her Tekken 8 snake edge is one of the slower ones at 29 frames. It's the, backturned heat smash, great punishment tools and knowledge checks like d34, HYP3 and fff3 that felt overpowered in the lower ranks. Anything lower than purple and the snake edges hit pretty consistently no matter how slow they are.
@@GiovanniBallerinii you would be surprised. I only just got through red ranks (Flame Ruler atm) and although they start blocking the snake edge it's still pretty consistent. Fujins are about the point where throwing it out randomly doesn't work more than once, really.
A literal bot ranked to reds with Eddy and his middle of the pack on this list lol. Raven and Victor with their mad counterable, duckable and steppable moves being above Dragunov, too. It's certainly a list.
no one plays Zafina, d+3,4 got nerfed, b+3,3 u can step pretty easily, and Lars‘s pickrate is awfully low. Just from that, i know u dont often play the game. Cheers
Lars may be the one of the worst characters in the game and most of his pressure is fake. But I can say after getting him to be my first character to GoD, his weakness makes me think more and work out things better than just me going autopilot all the time. I still got a long way to go so Lars you gotta work with me to reach the top
Lars is SUPER CHEESY...WTF...Gimmicky af and dashes all over the place. Devil Jin, also cheesy af. Eddie, easy to cheese with as well Nina, fair bc she has so many inputs to learn Paul, annoying Man these takes are off base unless we just have vastly different tekkie experiences/opponents
Heihachi probably deserves to be in annoying tier. I got Tekken God in a single day when I could never get it with Devil Jin (maybe I can now. i go through periods of Quick Match only so long it ends up being like the hyperbolic time chamber when i go back to Ranked)
I'd put Kazuya in the annoying category. Constantly putting you in 50/50 situations, his damage can be ridiculous, has one of the best moves in the game (f,f+2)...
I can respect this opinion, especially when there are a TON of Kaz players out there. I just feel like his execution is pretty high, and he can have trouble if you really try to keep him on the defensive.
Tbf it's a solid list. But I honestly disagree with kuma. Most people who call him gimmicky should try playing him to realise that he excels only with good fundamentals if not you will lose constantly. If you can't defend, backdash or sidestep appropriately you really can't cheese. All his best moves are super punishable, his jabs are weak. That's why he has good chip, good damage and *janky frames*. He has his pros and cons like every character but I honestly can't call that cheese. Analyse kuma gameplay from Fujin and above and compare that with those from Garyu and below. It's a completely different playstyle, where in the high ranks rather than cheese spam most players utilise proper fundamentals. Kuma is so overhated because its cool to hate, to justify why people lose to him
I can agree with some of this, and maybe its because I'm ass, but I feel like a lot of his moves can be deceiving, and he just has lots of wacky tools nobody else does. Also certain combos just straight up don't work on him, as well as getting clean hits on lows.
You lost me when you put Azu in Annoying considering the other options existing in Annoying but also putting SHAHEEN !!!! in Fair lmao. In retrospect you did say to get to Fujin with and that's fair I do get where this TierList is coming from but also tbf , Fujin in T8 is not that big of a milestone skill wise, from Tekken Emperor onwards , a whole different game , cuz you'll be matched with people who lab extensively, rely on their character's carry, probably know all the matchups in the game and knows how to fully utilize their tools. That's why I do think that this game is so shit is that it gives a false sense of achievement with it's ranked (unlike Tekken 7 or previous installments) and as polished as it looks, it lacks a lot of traditional Tekken stuff like neutral and what not. The fact that you get beat by another player, knowing full well that on equal footing you can demolish them, but they only beat you coz they're playing the 5 or 6 characters that are so rewarding and (like it or not) carried in this game (i.e Shaheen,Drag,Alissa,Yoshi,Nina,Jin etc) is actually so sad and will drive many players ( such as myself) to stop playing the game alltogether .
I got no main in Tekken8 till full roster😂 They done ma boi Jin (main since 3) so baf, not bad but its not Jin whom I used to play with. Ma boi Jin feels like some random stranget to me in 8😅 Sad😢
@@DannyLikesTekken people focus so much on execution that they skip fundies. If you can't get a electric punish every time it doesn't mean your bad at the execution. It means you're getting use to it. Outside of electrics and devil sweeps his combos aren't that hard tbh.
@@DannyLikesTekken fc hellsweep is a jailing two hit with no guaranteed follow up, the only other low option he has puts him in backturned which takes skill to navigate, the only mid options he has is a the wr elbow ch launcher and a regular uppercut launcher, so thats basically no different than kazuya's options out of a wavedash and you put kazuya in honest tier make that make sense, mind you his wr mids cant be excuted anywhere near as fast as ewgf can be
decent list. Agree with the annoying list. Bryan tho, could go into "difficult to deal with" and you can copy paste Alisa into 'annoying' list and rank her no.1
If all you mean by carried is "can get to this rank easy" that just means the rank you chose isn't a good metric for achievement in the first place Also the rank you chose to say "alright up to this point you can be carried" is literally the highest rank you've been, at least from what I can see in your vods Im here for more Tekken content creators but this could have been a reddit post my guy
