This channel is a goldmine, I've just started producing Musik and all your videos have so much useful knowledge packed into them. And you show them on example musik how it sounds with and without processing. Thank you for your Videos!

Very nice video! I’ve always heard about parallel processing, just noticed that i already do this i just didn’t know that’s what it was called 😂 also just seen that TDR Nova plug-in i think I’m gonna get that 🔥🥶

This is helpful, especially when paired with the dynamic eq tip. Any guidelines on setting the parameters for the dynamic eq (besides listening for the likely frequencies to dip?). Also, is there a reason why folks reach for a dynamic eq rather than a multiband compressor in a situation like this?

Great stuff! I would totally watch if you streamed yourself mixing other tracks too, whether they're your own or from subscribers. I think it would be even more enlightening if you worked on tracks of diverse genees!

I had a argument with a roommate that had like 12 tracks going in her daw including 6 percussion tracks. The vocalist is great, but she had a heavy reverb like she’s trying to mask lack of vocal talent. It’s was audio overload. It felt like being on some trippy shrooms without actually being on them. I like my music much more simple and pure, not some exercise showing how complex of a Pro Tools project I can make. I’m about the music.

Also quick question, is the saturator applied to the same track as parallel compression, or is it on the main vocal track?

Thank you for making such helpful videos 😃I watched so many already and learned so much. I make painting and drawing tutorials and like to keep the drawing sounds in as people find it relaxing. My present set up is not perfect. But after watching your videos I think Rode NT2 A would be great because of it’s interchangeable patterns. What would you suggest to use with it in terms of an interface / preamp. Thanks again 😊

Ah thank you for the kind words! I'm glad I could help in some small way with your content :) in terms of interfaces, it depends on your budget. I find the Presonus 24c and the Motu M2 to be really great for a lower priced option. Scarletts are also solid :)
