Yul used the over powered idol and succeeded where Terry failed miserably the previous season. As Cirie said, Terry was like a salesman trying to sell a dictionary to a woman with a set of encyclopedias. He didn’t consider that there might be sub alliances in the Casaya six. He certainly underestimated Cirie. Yul understood that people were playing their own games. He saved his whole alliance.
Yul made a misplay imo, not trying to beat Ozzy at challenges after Aitu had majority. Ozzy could have won the final 3 immunity and brought Becky to the end, which was an oversight by Yul. He shouldn't have planned for a final 3 because there hadn't been one before.
Becky was Laurel from Ghost Island before Ghost Island. Allied herself to the 2 people who could get her to the finale but absolutely 0% chance of beating either of them.
I sort of think that Ozzy would have taken Yul. He talked in confessionals about how Becky and Sundra didn't do much and how he wanted strong players in the end. Also, while Yul was plotting against him with Becky and Sundra, Ozzy only ever mentioned voting out one of the Iatu as a defensive move, and he never singled out Yul. Yul also had a large sway over Ozzy. It seemed like Ozzy was ready to just vote out Sundra for Yul.
Is there any explanation why Jenny voted for Ozzy over Yul or even Becky? Her jury vote is something I have no idea what happened here as Jenny have never spent much time with Ozzy and was in the same starting tribe as Becky and Yul. Herself had some strategy in the game. Plus Yuls answer to her question was great.
This is such a joke. I am watching this podcast only to try and find out how Ozzy didn’t get 9 votes. So not satisfied. Shame on this particular show for Ozzy not winning. This is a fun show to watch but just kills me that Yul wins - so possibly scripted and premeditated. Ozzy won around 11/12 challenges in a row. When it came down to individual immunity he won the last 4 and if he had lost any of them, he would have been voted off. How is he not the survivor? Also how do you not give a mid 20’s kid a million dollars in lieu of giving a 30’s Yale lawyer a million dollars. Shocking the most boring person was voted over the most excited captivating player ever on this show. “hE wASn’t gOOd aT sTraDeGy” This one season this show had, was the opportunity to provide some integrity. The right person “threat” made it without getting voted out. The council should have made 100% exception for Ozzy just because he was an insane threat and managed to make it all the way. FK “outwit and outplay” - After watching this season, I’ll stick to HBO. Also sincerely love hearing a very dense Jessica Lewis say Ozzy should have been on “Lost” lmaooooooo. ie a fictional tv show. Again, such a joke. Truly shame on myself for giving reality tv a chance.
