Zweihander might be the ultimate weapon in MORDHAU. Long reach and 2shot potential combined with insane drag/accel mixups makes it one of the strongest weapons for both duels and teamfight scenarios.
imagine being on a medieval battlefield and you see a guy with [Jisse] over his head and he has a big boy sword running roughshod over your friends, stacking up bodies left and right. That'd be so scary.
Bro as a new player with like 30 hours total in this game, I cant even win a single 1v1 lol, while gods like you are capable of soloing servers like holy shit
Mate, don't get me wrong - great skill and stuff. Yet it's like the main reason I don't play Mordhau anymore: it's just not enjoyable after a long days work to get into match and deal with someone way above my skill level. But then again, to each its own. Nice vid.
Jisse, you are an excellent fight🤩, thank you so much for the video. Please tell me which weapon is better to master for duels? I'm level 28 but still a noob🤧.
Bro I'm the noob getting farmed lmao, I've played for like 20 hours over the past weekend and just got reamed. I played at launch, but haven't played since lol.
How is it possible that most of your enemies don't parry? It seems like they're waiting to be destroyed. And how do you manage to defend from multiple enemies at the same time? Shouldn't there be a cooldown?
1) drags and accels + feints 2) active parry mechanic i started to play mordhau about half year ago and there is only one active youtuber, forgor his nickname(
ay brother, what is the best way/place to practice 1vx? people told me it is skirmish but i didnt find it helpful at all, it seems like that game mode is better for group fight practice, but how to get best practice for like lets say a 1v4 situation? it doesnt seem like people understand i mean me alone vs many enemies
If you play with friends you can ask them to do 1vX practice with training swords. If you REALLY want to get better fast and don't care about getting frustrated I would go play invasion with training sword or quarter staff. It will teach you to take every parry because trading blows with hyper armor isn't worth it if you only deal 10 damage. Otherwise just keep grinding invasion, you're gonna make it big some day.
@@Jisse_Gaming bro this is actually the best advice i have ever gotten, all other people just started bullying me for asking questions and wanting to get better lol, it was triggering, yes i am really passionate about becoming really good at 1vx so i can make awesome montages and entertain people, that way i am providing value in my own way, also i wish you luck winning against whoever sued you *it says on your twitch you are getting sued* if someone sued you they are a real bøg
AHAHAHAHA have you seen the chats in this game? The amount of slurs and insults is unreal (Unless they`ve done something about that since I stopped playing). VC would make this game a horrendous experience. And quite frankly, I don´t see why so many people want VC in multiplayer games. I really don´t need a bunch of pre-voicebreak idiots yelling how they fudged my mom in a high pitched voices.
@@ShadeScarecrow only content creators are keeping this game alive. if you gonna waste so much potential just because you are afraid of some toxicity i dont know what to tell you. u could always turn of voice chat or mute people. dow e live oin 1999 or what. we have options
Ahh, Jisse, every new video on this channel make me back into this pit of swords and retardness even after 2k hours. What have you done, again. Fug it, I’m in💀
8:11 How are you able to block right after failing to block? There should be a cool down if you don't parry anything. This also makes it so you can't attack.
Some mechanics reset the parry cooldown. In this case its "miss detector", where if an enemy misses you while you are looking at them you get most of the parry cooldown reset. This is a fairly new mechanic (1.5 years?) and was added to prevent people from missing you on purpose in order to bait out your parry in 1vX
@@Jisse_Gaming Oh wow. That's why this game makes me rage haha. I've ran towards people who failed to block someone else before, and they immediately swing and kill me. I'm like WHAT!? And then there's the fast one hands that can swing, and hit me immediately after I block them too. The combat is so wonky it's hard to learn everything.
@@strungarsshack5678 The combat is not wonky if you understand it, but the tutorial is terrible and there's not really any resources to help new players :(
@@Jisse_Gaming More details on that please ? You say looking at the enemy missing you. But what does that mean ? looking in their general direction or actually looking at them and having the dot turn red ? Because from that part of the clip, the guy on the right miss you with his stab, and you look at the guy on the left, you barely even look in the direction of the guy on the right, let alone directly at him
@@svelsien9582 I don't think even the devs know how it fully works. All I know is they need to be infront of you, definitely doesn't have to be on the dot. Some comp player might have more details on the specifics, I'm not that interested in the technicalities
