Man I listened to it 100s times and still it's like hearing it for the first time

The perfect organism.

For whatever reason, this song makes me very emotional. I used to listen to it quite a lot back in 2020 when pandemic started, and I moved in back home with my family. I had broken up with my ex just a month before that, so I was super broken. I wanted to move in with her, and we even started jokingly discussing the future(like having kids and stuff). Then all of a sudden she grew cold, found another guy and cheated. It brings me back to those days, when I was much younger(spiritually mostly). Night shift, me, working on my shitty tech support job, listening to this in the dead of night, thinking about where my life will go now. What will become of me? So many dreams, so many plans, so many wishes for the future... which path will I choose? Oh God, the innocence. Didn't quite know myself back then. This is the first time I listened to this in a while, and it still got me crying, made me go back as far as to when I was a kid/teen in high-school, playing games with my brother and sister, having fun with my friends.. Now, all of a sudden, me, the life, everyone around me... "We are moving too fast", as this song's lyrics suggest.

from 2:30 to 3:05 the transition at 3:00 to 3:05 is actually a masterpiece. best transition ever it made my ears cry tears of joy.

I usually play this when I’m closing for work. Puts me in a mood where I’m alone and have to get everything done before our closing hour. Telling rookies I got this just keep sending the food out. I’ll drop the food also. I try not to raise my voice because holy cow the amount of people come and go. And I’m a swing shift kind of guy
