Wichita Mountains - Rock Rooms and the Slide 

Here is a video from when I hiked out the Rock Rooms on Elk Mountain again with Britney, Joel, John, and Isaac. This is the only black-diamond rated hike in the state of Oklahoma. This is also where Dr. Philip Mitchell passed away back in the 90's. We also took several kids through the vaunted class four hike. We went up Elk Mountain in Charons Garden via the NW Gully. Once on top of the Elk Mountain we checked out Mirror Rock, Dinosaur Spine, and the Natural Arch. We made our way through the intimidating, dark rock rooms with our head lamps. Once we exited the rock rooms we egressed via the Slide in Treasure Cove. It was a helluva day in the Wichita Mountains.
