Hey Scott, just absolutely love your BIL 55. Brings back a lot of memories for me. Bought a used one (55 2 door post) in 67. The 3rd motor was a Corvette 327/365hp and I built it from there (worked in a automotive speed shop 6 years part time while in college). When finished the 30 over motor was pushing 500+hp. Raced it only a few times in the quarter. Best 11.96 at 114+mph (dump the clutch at 3800 and shift at 7800. Pontiac Muncie 4 speed w/4.88's). Painted 69 Caddy Sapphire Mist Blue. Sold the 5-5 in '70, great big mistake ! Have pics but can't post them here !

Love it..can't beat a black trifive ..beautiful. I have a 56 150 utility..same color with blue flames..BBC with six speed and 12 bolt Chevelle with ladder bars..no back seat or quarter window cranks..ex Pacific Bell in Northern CA and delivered phone books when I was 10 years old..to our house..LOL

Great video, i've never been to Beech Bend, nice track......and the 55.....damn nice....so clean and straight.....love the vibe with the dark tinted windows......the BBC cackles so well. I cant imagine what this thing sounds like with exhaust, on the street.....(this car gets street time?)......and one last thing, what was going on with that white 69 camaro? car sounded like it left at 10 grand.....crazy. I'm subbing you so i can go see what else you might have on your channel about this car......
beautiful 55 , can you tell us what cam shaft - Make ? , lift & duration ? , valve train ? your running in that 468 ci - and what intake and carburetor - that sounds amazing were putting a 454 in a 1967 Camaro M/T cross ram with 660s and 4 speed and would be thrilled for it to sound like that . . . . . . thank you
@@shitbox7413 well, turbos are cool as well. Wife has a twin turbo SUV that’s pretty quick. But nothing sounds like a good old big block cammed V8 with open headers.
Other than the fact that it has all the chrome trim on it and the rear wheel wells haven’t been radiused for the tires and it’s nice and shiny I guess it could be Bob Falfa’s car. Yeah other than all of that stuff it looks just like his car.
Man that’s a sweet car! I’m not trying to be jerk cause I love 55’s but you didn’t need to edit the first 330’ to make that car look quicker than it is. Just hate when these classics are not accurately represented…..
