Ich liebe den Moment am Ende, wo sie über das Publikum fliegt (kann man zwar hier nicht ganz sehen, aber den Ansatz). Hat mich total überrascht, als ich die Show das erste Mal sah! Ich find die ganze performance echt Klasse und bin so froh, dass jemand sie aufgenommen hat!
Okay what an awesome version of Wicked. The effects are really cool and done well when she flies. I think more places need to do this and breakaway from the Broadway mold a bit. Very creative and fun :) and I love the OG still but it's nice to see new things.
WOW! Everything about this production is great. The costumes, the sets, the props, the blocking, the flight sequence, the orchestrations, everything! I do hope that the Netherlands do mount a non replica and get this design.
Just one question, do they have a no fly sequence planned for in case the new lift doesn't work? Like Elphaba running to the front of the stage and everyone else crouching around her?
I really like less experienced actresses playing Elphaba. Like, I don't know what it is, but something about Chiara here, or even Maria Walter from the original cast, like the interpretation wasn't perfect and the vocals were still to be improved but you can always tell they are giving 100%, something more experienced actresses sometimes can't be bothered to do because they sound good even without trying a lot
Okay wow was ein riesiger Unterschied, wenn der Cast wirklich klares verständlich richtig betontes Hochdeutsch spricht wie hier im Video👏🏼👏🏼 aber leider ist die Hauptbesetzung von Elphaba und Fiyero oft fast garnicht zu verstehen - besonders an emotionalen Stellen hat man gemerkt das sie keine Muttersprachler sind, oft wurde sehr leise gesprochen oder genuschelt - Willemijn Verkaik hat es vorgemacht deutlich und emotional zu klingen in mehreren Sprachen! Schade das der Hamburg Cast es nicht so gut geschafft hat. Die Inszenierung hat Potential, nur diese kleinen Problemchen häufen sich leider.
Genau dieser Meinung bin ich auch. Die Niederländer haben ihren Text oft nur so hingenuschelt. Die sprechen auch privat nie Deutsch, sondern immer Englisch und das wirkt so, als würden sie es gar nicht erst versuchen wollen.
Also ich habe beide sehr gut verstanden 😊 Ich fand sogar beide unfassbar gut in ihren Rollen. Zumal Vajen ja auch vorab mit einem Coach gearbeitet hat.
@@misscottoncandy95 oh ok. Ich habe Vajen ja nur einmal gesehen und da habe ich sie eben nicht sehr gut verstanden. Aber das ist sicherlich auch jede Show unterschiedlich.
@@saskiaj.993 ich war in einer der letzten Vorstellungen, vielleicht hatte sich der Cast da auch etwas mehr "eingegroovt". Wir hatten aber auch den alternativen Fiyero. Ich persönlich finde den Gesang der Zweitbesetzung von Elphaba leider nicht so schön. Vajen hat einfach ein unglaubliches Stimmvolumen, da kann man schwer mithalten.
@@misscottoncandy95 Das ist wahrscheinlich der Grund, warum Vajen die Erstbesetzung war. Ich persönlich bin sehr bereit, ein paar Abstriche bei der gesanglichen Leistung in Kauf zu nehmen, um dafür den Text verstehen zu können. Und man kann nun wirklich nicht sagen, dass Chiara schlecht gesungen hat. Natürlich kam sie nicht ganz an Vajens Gesang ran. Dafür hat sie mir schauspielerisch etwas besser gefallen als Vajen. Aber da hat jeder andere Präferenzen und das ist auch gut so. :) Auf den Videos ist es sowieso ganz anders als in echt. Ich finde es eigentlich auch unfair, sowas zu vergleichen. Jeder ist halt auf seine Art gut, sonst wären sie wohl nicht genommen worden.
Komem grade aus der deniere die war schön alles ausgebucht Wicked würde sehr warscheinlich weiter gehen wenn es öfters komplett ausgebucht gewesen wäre Und wem tickets zu teuer sind kann ich den tipp geben im Hamburger hbf gibts 30% auf tickets

Hi, natürlich kann ich 2h ohne Handy auskommen, aber darum geht es doch gar nicht. Ich habe unter einem der anderen Videos - ich glaube bei „Nur ein Tag“ -schon ausführlich beschrieben, warum es gefilmt und hier veröffentlicht wurde und werde es deshalb nicht nochmal beantworten. Wenn du willst, lies dir das gerne durch.
Oh, so Elphaba made friends with Elle Woods from Legally Blonde: The Musical? Anyway…you can tell that these two lost the audience when they didn’t react where they normally would. Like when Elphie says, “Quick! Get on!” And Glinda says, “What???” There’s supposed to be a chuckle there. When there is silence from the audience, you’ve lost them. They aren’t on your side anymore. They aren’t impressed when Elphaba goes up with her broom. The cheering at the end is lukewarm, maybe. This whole thing is horrible. Admirable for trying something new, but horrible. They could’ve used different actors and better costumes. They also could’ve talked to a magician or two about how to do something different with the show.
This reworking of the flying scene is just not very successful. They should revert back to the original way. You can see her harness very clearly… the magic of the flight has kind of gone…
Hi, I understand your point, but what you can´t really see in this video is that she flies over the audience at the very end. So that´s why they changed it. I have to say, I didn´t mind seeing the harness and I found it absolutely magical while watching the show. It felt very different seeing it live than on camera. But of course, not everyone likes that and that´s fine. :)
i really dont think so. in theatre you cant really see it and when she flys over the people was just incredable AND magic. dont judge it just because of this video
I really don't get your point, you can barely see the harness she's wearing. In the original staging, she doesn't even fly, I don't know if you've seen both productions live but the Hamburg staging makes the flying part look more legit than the original, at least in person. Especially with Elphie flying away at the end, it seems more 'magical'..
@@galindafiziert5946 I've seen the original version about 12 times in the theatre, and it's pure magic. Right here it's so obvious that she's hanging by harnesses.
@@saskiaj.993 the point is, the original way worked fine. and some theatres did it differently. People argued that London had better lighting, while New York had better smoke, but the point is, it was successful at hiding how it was achieved. Here it's just a person hanging on a harness. I am not sure what was the point of re-working this scene, but after some research on the internet, German theatres asked for a special license to try out this new working of the flight scene. Given that Broadway and West End have not taken it on it's probably a sign that it's not considered to be that great. We shall see. If they decide to take it on in the main production of Wicked on Broadway, then perhaps things will change.
Findest du? Chiara ist halt die Cover-Elphaba. Dafür finde ich Vajèns Aussprache schrecklich undeutlich. Oder meinst du mit Original die Besetzung der Uraufführung?
