Here we go again! Today we're starting Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Sick Difficulty Story Mode. We're in for some suffering. Not necessarily because of the difficulty of having no stats, but just being confused and lost all the time. And having to deal with my best friend Bam Margera.

The KP buttons correspond to numbers on the keypad/numberpad. It's a similar layout if you look at it. 2 = X/, 4 = Square, 6 = Circle, 8 = Triangle. The bumpers are slightly less intuitive, but 7 is Left and 9 is Right.

The arcade machines aren't the classic mode, they're just high score challenges. Edit: Nevermind, you figured it out. Also, for the challenge where you do tricks on the beat, you POP the trick on the beat. So when the boombox is red, you release the ollie.

For the record, the pro challenges can be done by your main skater - you don't need to use mullen or whoever to complete them so you can still do them 0 stats

Have you removed the clock capacitor in your Xbox? It's highly recommended for all Xbox's produced before April 2004. I'm playing THUG1 on my og Xbox right now and am enjoying 720p with component cables :)

I don't know if you actually read comments, but you can swap KP4 with X,KP8 with Y, etc. It helps a lot you can also do the PRO goals with your regular character.

4:40 actually in THUG 2 I think all those do is let you take a high score run while in story mode; in Proving Ground or something THAT'S when they take you to classic mode challenges within that level. I think in THAW they just let you access high score in pause possibly.

Just for reference KP2 is X/A KP4 is Square/X KP6 is Circle/B KP8 is Triangle/Y I think KP1/3/7/9 are the shoulder buttons. It's all about how the numpad buttons are arranged if you pretend theyre on a controller

Rad Rat, i laughed so hard when you didn't understand what a beat was. It's all good tho I love you for doing these games. But yeah I'm pretty sure they want you to pop on the beat, so when it goes BUM TSS, BUM BUM BUM TSS you pop on the TSS, got it? alright. So it's like BUM BUM TSS (pop on TSS), BUM BUM BUM TSS (pop again on the TSS) The beat goes like 1 AND 2 AND 3 AND 4. You pop on 2 and 4 because that's where the TSS sound falls in.

12:30 on the boombox objective: you're supposed to initiate the flip trick when the boombox is red. That will show up later, but the only time I remember for sure is in New Orleans

Regarding copyright stuff - it might be Japan-specific. A wrestling channel I watch said that they have real issues whenever they even mention New Japan Pro Wrestling or when they use their official press release pics (even with copyright watermarks and trademarks in place) or even mentioning them (e.g. if the video has NJPW in the title) So maybe they just ban any 'unauthorised' use of their stuff.

I can see why this game wasn't as enjoyable when it came out. It just takes so much time to find all the hidden items and to figure out what the developers intended us to do to trigger some tasks. Plus, the whole gameplay is not smooth enough, In this first level, whenever you start the line it soon breaks due to a bad level design.
