I was lucky enough to go see Wicked on Broadway twice, I even met Elphaba’s actress at the stage door. I also left my purse in the theatre so that was fun.
I saw the touring cast resently and got to go backstage and meet the guy who played (fiaro?) I can't spell. Anyway we got se the Oz head and go on the stage and it was so cool OMG
I saw it a few years on Broadway for my sister's birthday. Even though she was old enough to remember it, somehow she remembers a trian ride we had on that trip more than seeing Wicked on Broadway for her birthday:/
As someone who has never seen the musical or the wizard of oz and just watched this because I enjoy your humour and singing, this was both funny and weird and I'm confused as hell now
YOU’VE NEVER SEEN THE WIZARD OF OZ!? I feel hurt now because my Great Grandfather was the creator of Technicolor and decided that Kansas would be in black & white because it’s dark and dreary while Oz is bright and colourful. The movie was originally supposed to be in all colour and most people don’t know that
The only show I've ever saw live was Wicked, and yeah this is accurate af. And it was lowkey really cool to see my dad (who went with me) slowly put together the clues and figure out how each event tied into the original story! Just, w o n d e r f u l -
I felt that "IT COST 8 POUNDS" I was prepared to buy the CREEPS shirt with my own money when I went to see BMC live for my birthday IT WAS 60 FLIPPIN DOLLARS- That costs more than a hoodie- I'm so glad my mom paid for it.
My theatre teacher taught me this in 6th grade so I’m not sure if this is true but she said something about how “Defying Gravity” harmed the actor’s voice so much that they couldn’t perform Wicked that long
It’s ironic that this JUST came out, I just listened to the soundtrack recently...and got obsessed :3 SO IF YOU CAAARE TO FIIIIIIND MEEE, LOOK TO THE WESTEERRRN SKYYY-
Wicked is literally my favorite Broadway show; I have a Wicked watch, was Elphie for Halloween one year, and am watching this on my phone with a Wicked case. I was meant to see Wicked for a school field trip in April but I obviously couldn’t bc ya know
"IT COST EIGHT POUNDS!" Ah yes the true struggles of being a Musical Theatre lover watching things in the West End very expensive merch 😂 This was absolutely brilliant ❤❤❤
I watched this video 2 years ago and knew nothing ab Wicked, but now I just came back from seeing it live and this is so much funnier omg (and also a bit more sense) 😂 “And he’s been thinking 😭” 💀
I have never seen Wicked but I used to Listen to it all the time as a kid... after seeing this, maybe it was one of those shows that my mom stopped after act one. Cuz shit got REAL
So story time: I saw wicked live and puked the entire time because I had the stomach flu and then I went and saw it again, got ptsd, and puked everywhere again. And now I’m on medication for my anxiety stuff and whenever I hear the songs my stomach hurts and I have to take the medication. Sorry I just felt like sharing this but great video 👍🏼
