I can't belt so I am trying desperately to make this sound hella with my head voice. It isn't working.

@kalinzxgor3 My best advice for the Fiyero~ at the beginning is to start out low and crescendo and decrescendo, adds more effect.

i LOVE this song, it's perfectly within my belt range, and i actually CAN hold out the notes (which surprises me a bit...) and i get to perform it at a showcase!!! the only problem is the acting, and getting a little more volume and diction on the lower parts.

it is my goal in life to be able to hit that fiyero note!

it's actually easier than ud think, as long as you are using the proper technique u can push ur limits a little each time you sing and eventually u will stretch ur vocal so that high notes will be more attainable, im not even going to lie singing Wicked has made me a Tenor, i used to be a complete Baritone, now im getting cast as Billy Lawlor so it is possible, i mean if you are a LOW LOW LOW bass than...don't get your hopes up for tenor notes but high notes are not out of the question at all

i'm soprano/mezzo but i lose my high notes ... it's so sad soon i'll have to quit singing soprano and tutrn to alto. I don't know why, but my lower notes got lower and lower since i started having sining lessons

@LittleCrowling really really good advice. my friend is suggesting I do this for my HSC piece cos I got a strong chest voice and the expression will add marks. thx heaps for the advice =]
