Welcome to Oakview Cemetery! We’ve been building our Halloween yard haunt for over 6 years, and for the first time ever, we’re taking you on a full tour through our spooky display. We’ll start with the daytime tour so you can see how we’ve arranged our different Halloween themes. We’ve got the classic spooky cemetery filled with custom tombstones which is haunted by our chicken wire ghost. Lurking in the graveyard is Pennywise the clown (previously Lucky Bottoms before his makeover) and his “friend” Georgie. There’s a giant, mysterious stone portal which serves as a gateway to another realm. We show a custom projection on there (available on our Patreon) as well as a video from AtmosFX. Outside the portal is Lord Raven from Spirit Halloween and his two giant 12ft skeleton minions. Gertie the giant spider has filled the trees with her spooky spiderwebs and egg sacs. The Empty Soul Girl on a swing sways gently in the wind. In the front we have our undead skeleton pirate party with the endless drinking skeleton and magical floating wine bottle. Our rocking chair swamp witch sits next to a bubbling cauldron with glowing coals. Behind her is the life size Minecraft spider. The final test for trick-r-treaters is the Sitting Scarecrow who is easily the most terrifying creature in our whole haunt.
Almost everything in our Halloween Haunt is a Halloween prop that we made or a custom animatronic makeover. If you want to learn how to make your own Halloween decorations, we have RU-vid tutorials that show you how to make Halloween decor from scratch and how to upgrade Halloween animatronics from places like Spirit Halloween and Home Depot. We have a ton of easy Halloween DIY projects that anyone can do to help keep the spirit of Halloween alive in your neighborhood!

While it may not be the most glamorous of video ideas, I would love to know how you store all of this during the rest of the year. We are trying to figure that our ourselves as our haunt grows and any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks for all you guys do and a big CONGRATS! on going full time! If you own your own property maybe you could purchase a shipping container and place it in your backyard. You could even remodel the outside of it to look like a shed so it won't be an ugly tin box just sitting 🙂

The only thing about the witch makeover that I wasn't sold on was the sparkly wig, but in the dark, lit up the way she is, she looks INCREDIBLE. The hair gives her this extra boost of *magic*

I’ve been home recovering from illness and multiple surgeries for the last 12 weeks and watching RU-vid has been my go to entertainment. I found you guys from watching so many mini sculpture and model/diorama makers and I love your channel! I don’t ever intend to make any of the scary props ya’ll make but your videos are entertaining and ya’ll seem so sweet! Congratulations on making content full time - I’ve been self employed for 16 years and even though it is scary sometimes, it’s been the best career I could ask for.

This looks incredible! Thank you for taking the time to show both the nighttime display and what it looks like during the day. I love all of the details and different sections of your yard dedicated to different themes. I'm sure it's even cooler in person. I can't wait to see what you do for other holidays. It would be cool if you did makeovers for Christmas yard decorations since I haven't seen that done before. If you want to stick with spooky you could do Anna and the Apocalypse theme or Nightmare before Christmas theme. Thank you again for making amazing videos and projects. Congratulations on being full-time content creators. I've loved all your makeovers and projects. I think a lot of your content can steer you towards cosplay and prop making. I . remember you did a "Sea of Thieves" treasure chest, and I would love to do that as a prop for a home/in-person D&D campaign. The real question is, where are you putting all your newly made friends after the season is over? I would love to see a follow-up video of packing them away until next year's festivities come around again.

For smaller holidays you can do simple ideas or how to take stuff you learn from halloween prop making to make other holiday stuff. But for other holidays. Id love to see a sytrofoam door on a tree for a leprechaun or easter bunny with their cauldon of carrot soup or pot o gold. Maybe some nightmare before christmas or Krampus stuff too
