Rudy did one (or possibly you could have done it) for my B Deere last summer and with his short video on how to time it my B started and ran fine the first time. Great work.
Kenny hear is something I learned from a old mechanic friend by the name of Pretty Hancock!! He told me to scuff the gray glaze off of the points with 220 emery cloth because it will make the points last twice as long !!! And he was right !!! 😊👍🌎🌞 I like seeing a mag when you get done they look like new !!!
Yessir!! We always polish the points. Sometimes there is an oily film on them as well to protect them in the box from corrosion. Good that you bring that up.
As long as it is appropriately cleaned after blasting, you shouldn't have any issues. I have yet to run into an issue like that. Attention to detail is KEY!
