Wide Body C6 Corvette Build (Part 1)

In this episode, we begin disassembling my cheap salvage c6 corvette and installing a super wide body kit. We also install our new set of niche gt5 wheels and find that they aren't wide enough lol

Thanks man! Yep, that’s the plan now, I’m going to use these wheels and spacers to dial in the whole setup and down the road will look for proper wheels.

I get excited when you upload, then sad after the video is over because I gotta wait lmao. I also bought a salv vette. got a 2008 Z51 that im looking to widebody. Where did you get this one from and did you see other options that caught your eye?

Haha awesome! Thanks man. I try my best to upload quick but the work process just takes too long and half the time I’m waiting on parts. I got this one from eBay, it was pretty much the only kit on there that wasn’t the oem z06 panels. The rest of the kits seem to cost 2-4x as much so I didn’t really consider them.

I have an 06 z51, your wide body is beyond aggressive and looks dope bro but does it effect the drive in your opinion with the spacers? Btw your vids are awesome I ordered the same spoiler you bought you got great taste lol

moe Gv hey thanks man! Glad you got that spoiler haha. As far as the ride, I feel like it handles about the same if not better, that’s said, I’m a little more sketched out at pushing the car as hard as I used to, so that’s kind of a draw back, at least until I get proper wide wheels

My body kit came in yesterday and I had the same issues! I think it’s not because of shipping! Did you had to drill any wholes?

Nice! Which one did you get? No all the holes came pre drilled and lined up pretty well. But i did have to shave off one section to make the fender fit. Yeah I expected there to be imperfections for that price but it’s no big deal either way
