At about 3:35, I don't believe I've ever heard the 'h' in 'chasm' pronounced before. I gotta get Katrina together with Mike from the That Chapter channel, as that guy seems to think nearly all h's are pronunciation optional. This is merely an observation, as I'm a fan of both channels, so please don't take this negatively if possible.

She also pronounced 'Richter Scale' with a hard H the first couple times, but went with the traditional soft H pronunciation, basically a K sound, for the rest of the video.

Melting ice relieving pressure on crust in those areas AND increasing pressures in other areas due to higher water pressures MORE QUAKES CRACKS AND VOLCANOS which create more melting. More volcanos means less pressures from below and ground sinks

I grew up in California and was playing Trivial Pursuit during the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake…and have been through about 4-5 smaller nuisance quakes! I’ve always heard the scale Richter, as being pronounced as “Rick-ter” 😻. Again, terrific show! Thank you❤️

Catrina you are doing the human race a detrimental service by spouting inaccuracies that if children who repeated your "facts" they would be laughed out of class ... earthquakes do not cause chasms (pronounced CASMS) to form in the earth's crust, tsunami waves or any other damages to the earth's crust. It is crust displacement/deformation that cause chasms to form or widen, creste tsunamis that crash into coastlines or damage the earth's crust to deform and the "earthquake" that is a felt force that results from the deformation etc .... not the other way around. .... if Wikipedia had a RU-vid channel this is what it would look like!!!!
