WidowMaker! Porsche 997 GT2 "Easy" Nürburgring Lap 

Thank you for joining ! On your own trackday + passenger, it's not a good idea to crash into the barrier and create downtime. Our gloves are presents for good customers or RU-vidrs :D

It feels a bit like a Star Wars hyperspeed with all that dirty windshield :-D

That car is so quiet for how fast it is! You could have some nice classical music in the background as you rip through the countryside.

What.a.car! And driver! TC off, manual gearbox and smooth but fast driving that's how I like it! Bit of oversteer here and there. No playstation automatic with all driving aids and TC on, just pure driving and learning every time again!

Yellow GT2, roll cage, bucket seats and schroth seatbelts = perfect spec! Well done!

There's always just "something" about having a wicked fast car paired to a humble H-box.

Would be nice to see the outside of the car before you drive. Especially this car as I have something similar.

I think that bmw flying by was the trigger for a not so easy lap😁

Old school Porsche. Very nice..I couldn't concentrate with all them dead bugs on the windscreen. It would drive me nuts. 😂✌

Some of those slightly easy ( but fluid ) laps turn out to be quite fast.😁

What a cool guy! His comment 11:00 on tire choice is a good reminder that you should not blindly trust general tire recommendations. What works on one car might not work on another. It's great when you can take your advice from somebody with as much experience as Manthey.

I love the GT2 RS. The power without this loud crying of a GT3 RS looks so smooth ❣️😅 Nice turbo power 👌🏼 And the 997 has the right size for me... not so big like the 991. I'm interested to see the next GT2 RS from the 992 generation 😊

Oh how I wish I lived near the ring. I’d love to drive my right hand drive JDM Toyota Mark X ‘06 with 2.5 litre V6 rear wheel drive car there. Surely, it’d be one of the slowest compared to the speed demons there, but would enjoy my laps :)

Misha please analyze this for me !!! His clutch in, and the crazy amount of RPM drop then he downshifts, And no rev match, I’ve personally seen people crash like that. It seems like the Porsche isn’t being upset by it but like he is also on amazing tires and chassis. I don’t mind downshifting without a rev match but he is waiting to long to release the clutch Way too much rpm drop

There was something that always seemed more special about the 997 GT2, compared to the 997 GT2RS.

Fast but I am not impressed by the arrogance over the windscreen and the state it is in. Does it matter?…yes it does…not because of the flies but because of the attitude so I would have got out of the car and left the driver to it.
