Verticutting harrow
Extremely stable for hard, continuous use.
Necrotic plant parts, leaves or surface roots build up
thatch on the surface of the soil. This thatch, usually recognisable
as a brown layer between ground and sprouts
of turf plants, reduces water permeability and gas exchange.
The parallelogram-guided TERRA RAKE solves this problem
rapidly and efficiently. The high driving speed of 10
up to 15 km/h sets the verticutting tines vibrating aggressively,
which pulls out the thatch from the sod and deposits
it on the surface. The verticutting depth is sensitively
adjusted by means of castor wheels. The verticutting
tines are arranged in four rows, so that despite the narrow
spacing of 16 mm, there is sufficient free space between
the individual tines for obstruction-free verticutting. The
two-part unit is brought from the working position into the
transport position by means of hydraulic cylinders. For the
trailed version, the unit is brought into the transport position
by means of an electric spindle.
