It's horrible the way she treated him but it was partly his fault for letting her do it and not standing up for himself. The worst thing anyone can ever do is to stand there and let somebody disrespect them. When you love someone, I know it's hard and you tolerate a lot from them but if they keep on walking on you, you need to think of getting them out of your life. It doesn't matter whether they hold all the cards in the relationship.
