A home baked cake is better than most gifts anyway because its made with love and not bought with money and you will probably lose or forget about the item you got for your birthday a while later.

That’s the most hurtful part in a relationship, when partners coarsely reminding what they have done or paid off. But when you love unconditionally you will not get tired of everything and appreciate little things both done for each other. 😊

well done for teaching kids that abusive relationships are ok and the abusive partner definitely learns their lesson. It's not like the cycle of abuse exists and the guy is gonna yell at her again in like a day or two :)

It tore me up too. This was unbearable. She spent hours trying to do something nice for him. A cake is the symbol of a birthday celebration. And he acted like it was a lousy gift and he flies into a rage about it. He's a jerk. I so agree with you, she does deserve to be comforted

When the man yelled on her and the woman just stood there crying, that happens a lot between me and my mom. I just stand there silently sobbing. Its hard
Calm her down first or find her in a better mood and explain to her your side of the story, see if you both can come to an agreement. Screaming won't help with a negotiation. If you still can't find a solution, ask another adult (hopefully one that is on good terms with your mom) to help you out.
Clawdie, for what things does your Mother blame yoy? Ask her if She wants you to be happy, admit you make mistakes, but note noone is perfect. Ask her if She likes something about you, say not all People Who wanrt to have Kids have Kids, some are infertile.

Don’t mention it, I have gone through it. I have a long story................. I taught being rich and all is cool, because I myself ain’t rich and quite poor. But things happend.... and I know for sure love is way more important, friendship or family. I can’t with family as my family is just for names sake, we hardly go anywhere, and always fights...
