Im Tamil from eelam. Let me tell you the correct story. Asuras are not evil or nobody disrespected them. Asuras are highly advanced civilization once existed in lanka. They were giants (in greek they call them Titans). They were older gods and the devas are newer gods. Mandothari is daughter of Mayavan. There is a connection with Maya civilization in south America. Her father was a great architect and king of Mayas. Ravanan in other hand the king of Lanka. Ravanan's mother's family are the rulers of lanka. Mali , Sumali, Malayavan.. all these are Ravanan's ancestors. The monkeys are supposed to be people who lived in forest. In reality, raman can't even stand next to ravanan. But they did sneaky works to get the prosperous land.

As per jain literature Sita was daughter of ravaana. One saint told ravaana that his death would be due to her daughter. So he left her daughter in one of field of Nepal kingdom. Nepal king don't have children's so they adopted her. As she found from bhoomi so called as daughter of bhoomi.
