You just saved the day!!! I got this over a year ago and thought it could help with the hotspot on my phone and everyone I talked to said it wouldn’t work for that, but I finally got WiFi and didn’t really understand the instructions. Thank you so much
I bought one of these units a while ago and they are great! Simple to set up and they aren't bulky looking like some of the others you see. The only downside is that it only supports 2.4GHz so Using it as an access point is a bit limited in bandwidth with media sharing set up along side but apart from that, it's great!
Thank you so, so much Sir. I couldn't do connection and I couldn't find relevant information until I had found out about your excellent video. Yes, and that video and your knowledge were showing me everything that I needed to know. Now everything works and you have got my deep respect.
I can't believe how many times I have to look at this again and again...it helped me to use my droid phone, when the P.C. directed me to the other side of the moon, thanks again. simple steps, and right to the point, helps....
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! I was about to send this back to sender, as I could not get it to connect. But, thanks to you I no longer need to!! Clear, precise instructions!! Thank you once again!!
This can be used whether wired or wireless. As the name says the repeater repeats your your already existing wifi connection so you would have connection in places you wouldn’t normally have a good connection. Will not show up as a different name as it is only repeating your already existing WiFi.
Omgoodnight I have had people try to help me get this going.... watch your video and it worked. I can’t thank you enough... now I am making sure my boyfriend sees your food channel since he does all the cooking. Thank you
Thank You! I got mine hooked up with no problem, next to see if it'll help with my new AT&T TV that kept buffing and losing sound etc. It's so annoying.
Although I have not tried this with my Wavlink as in extender I had been wanting to use it as such instead of as repeater, but your video was the first to demonstrate because like you say, the owner's manual isn't very clear. I knew that the device/ethernet port had a purpose for last 3 years. Good good looking out! *new subscriber*
YOU CAN'T COPY RESPECT -- WHICH YOU'VE EARNED FROM ME. THIS WAS A DOPE VIDEO. I JUST GOT MINE AND YOU HELPED ME SET IT UP TO PERFECTION. CHEERS BUDDY YOU'RE THE MAN 🍻💯
Ideally you want to place the repeater at a midway point in between the router and the place you want the wifi to reach. If its to far from the receiver it will not pick up a strong signal and might buffer and have low internet speed on the other hand too close will be the same as not having anything at all because it might not reach the desired area.
I just got one and wanted to find a helpful step by step video with instructions. I have not installed mine yet but I think this will do the trick! Im needing it for my Smart TV that I stream Hulu with. It came with the ethernet cord. I plan on using my phone to install it the way you did. I have been using an external antenna too but thats not working for me. Im hoping this will help. Thank you!
I may have things a little mixed up, so correct me as needed, as another video explained there is a big difference in a repeater and an extender. You selected repeater, yet you plugged in an ethernet cable, which now makes it an extender, which of course will give much better internet speed than if the unit was being used as a repeater; since in effect you are extending your router. Is that correct. The problem I have is my router is on one end of my house and when I go into my bedroom on the opposite corner of my house, my iphone wifi signal is lower than anywhere in the house. Instead of 4 of the little arched bars of wifi, it goes down to 2 bars. Naturlly my wifi is slower to respond when I'm Facebook, RU-vid, etc. Would I see the wifi bars light up to show I have boosted the signal? Any help appreciated. Thanks
Hello Doug I really liked your video there’s just one question I have what is an ethernet cord and what is the other end of the cord connected to. I don’t have any big cords like that connected to my TVs are use the fire stick and it works good for the buffers a lot especially upstairs in my bedroom and I just wanted to make up for. I get better even though I went through all the steps to clean for Fire Stick ‼️ to delete stuff all that jazz and it’s still prefers quite a bit but I don’t have any records like that coming out of my TV and I didn’t really want to plug this device in my bedroom I want to plug it upstairs in the hallway or possibly downstairs in the hallway what would you recommend. And I will say tthank you in advance. PS do you also cook keto?
The first end of the cable goes in the WiFi booster and the end goes in what u want to get better WiFi on ( tv, Xbox , ps4) if it doesn’t supply Ethernet cable it doesn’t work
Can you post a .pdf or a few picts of the user manual your supersets came with. Mine is an old version and leaves more extraction un/mis-described. TIA
Good tutorial. The only thing I would suggest is to change the admin password first. I use mine to extend my internet so I can now garden and work with my livestock. Today I reached about 35-40 yards from my router. It also increased the speed of my internet. Pretty cool.
I have a question. I installed this just like you said. The on button which is red. The wifi is blinking. I don't have the green light you have on your above the wifi. Also I plugged in the lan cable. What is the other end plugged into? I would appreciate any help that you can give me. Thanks for posting your video.
I'm trying to figure out if I can connect a second access point like another router to one of these. I'm going to put one of these outside of my shed and a router inside. Wonder if it'll work?
Ok only increase the range! Like on my cell phone at top right hand corner 5 little line wouldn't this ultrawifipro help improve that or is that a different thing? Cause I seriously most of time only have 2 to 3 line, but it goes up and down like just now lol there 4 lines, and then go down to only 2 lines
I have a 2600 sq foot single story house. We have devices in the master, the back bedroom, and the living area. The router is set up in the front corner office, opposite from all devices. Would I need two or three of these? If I need multiples, do I set them all up the same way?
Ok say I’m traveling and I have a travel trailer and the place I’m staying at has internet but is a little far away can I use this to get a better connection
Seems to me that the power of the Wifi accepter in your TV may be the weak link. I've got a 100/100 Verizon router w/both 2.4g & 5G built in and the Amiccom camera that is only 15ft away from it in my garage can not pick up the Wifi from the router at the top of my cellar stairs through 3 walls. Is that the cameras problem? The Amiccom tells you there must not be Any obstructions. Yet my other Blink camera gets to accept the Wifi in the same location via a Link box plugged in to the upstairs outlet. Having to plug the TV in your house into the Verizon extender seems obtuse. Sure, plug the Vz box into an outlet at the far side of your home but that Vz extender box should work wirelessly to all your devices in its proximity, no?
Thanks so much for the very informative and tutorial video!! I was about to put this thing back in the box and send it back!! Now thanks to you its installed properly!!! Thanks again!!
Bernie 2024!!! I just got a Work From Home job and they are requesting that I have the modem nearby so that I could plug the laptop via Ethernet for better connectivity but I have the exact situation as you. The modem is downstairs and so is the WiFi router. I'm going to order this off of Temu and hope it works
Help once I connected to my router it goes I to my provider and “ext” and it says to use the same password a login details but it says wrong password. Any help??
I recently purchase (4) Ultra Wifi Pro units. I was under the impression I could connect them all to my network to support different devices...some via Ethernet and other wireless devices (phone, ipad, etc.) all from the same router. Is this possible? I am having a bit of a block. Can you inform me?
The repeater will automatically connect wirelessly to the Main Router once you login into myrepeater.net/ , then from there you can either use the new WAN created by the repeater since the range will now be able to reach your designated location or just plug in the ethernet cable to the repeater into tthe TV or whatever gadet you want to use
I ordered one 3 days ago but it hasn't come yet. My house has aluminum siding and I need to get wifi out to surveillance cameras outside the house. I hope the siding doesn't block the signal from getting outside the house.
I am confused. Does it require an ethernet connection? I need a repeater that processes a weak WIFI signal and strengthens it. Was this just for an ethernet connection that far from the router without rewiring an ethernet outlet? Does anyone use this to enhance a weak spot in the house?
well I've never seen a youtube video load that fast so it must work and plus theres a whole article about and a IT guy says it gives you the speed you should have because wifi companies slow it down after a few days.
Can this be used without the Ethernet cable? I just want to boost the signal in a back room upstairs the WIFI box is downstairs. Looking for a plug and go. Thanks in advance.
Ur absolutely right! The manual is garbage. I read and read and said FI I’m goin on RU-vid. And I also have att and router is on my main floor and me too have to go 14 steps and my room is again in the back. So thank you again for this video
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the same settings as you on my iPhone...I'll persevere though! Your video is very informative...I wish I could benefit from it.
Question, Can the repeater work if the lan cable isn't included? Like my box for my tv doesn't have a lan cable port so is it possible to just plug the repeater near the box wirelessly?
hi. i would like too know if i can hook this too my arlo base station. my wifi signal is weak. i have trouble some time connecting to my cameras from a distance , and what are da steps
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I have this exact one but I was wondering would my PS5 get better internet if I plug a Ethernet cable into this, then into the PS5
does it speed up your AT and T box connection ? I'm using a Bell router thats physically connected to my android box will this improve buffering (speed)?
question: I have a 100 mega line ... upstairs and an adls line downstairs, is it possible to connect the faster fiber optic router from upstairs? is it also possible to connect the desktop computer?
Yes!! Coming in a week or so...I'm waiting for a fire tv stick for my sons playroom which is the final tv(out of 4) not connected yet. We have a TCL in that room and unfortunately if you didnt download the at&t app in feb/march you cant download it at the moment on that tv because of negotiation issues. (We only watch that tv in football season lol)
I installed one of these and it works well. However, my Brother printer is now disconnected and I don't know how to make it work from a distance. Do you have advices for me? From Montréal.
I have a ??? My AT &T WiFi router is upstairs. I wanna put the booster downstairs. Do I need a cable to connect to anything? Or does this have to be located by the router upstairs and it will boost the signal downstairs? I’m kinda confused now. I thought you just plug this in near a dead spot and it picks up the WiFi and activates that area.
If I have 4 devices and the router is next to one of my Amazon devices. My question is do I need multiple Wifi repeaters for each device? Especially if the signal is poor? Thank you
@@DUGLESSM my wifi is excellent in the house I'm in now. We just bought a new house and I am concerned about possible dead spots. Would 1 wifi repeater/extender be enough?
80sCats&GunsAddict , so you don't need to buy the Repeater Extender device ? And All wee need is to get the AC Router from Target ?? Or we also don't need Century Link either ? And all we just need is the AC Router from Target to get both Internet Modem and Router with the AC from Target ?
The router I use is two floors ahead. I get my internet from my landlady ndlady who lives two floors above me. How will the wifi repeater help.icreased speed and performance for me? Where do I place it since we are two floors away from each other?
