Hello viewers, In this video, we are recovering gold from wifi routers. These routers contain small IC chips and Ethernet ports that are gold-plated. #goldrecovery ##ewaste #ewasterecycling #gold #goldmelting #trinity
If you use a magnet to remove the kovar and other magnetic metals while (or after) rinsing the ashes, it will reduce the amount of aqua regia needed (cutting costs and waste solution volumes) and likely increase purity. Also, pyrolyzing the ic chips before incineration cuts pollution and might save human exposure to deadly fumes.
my hope, you make a tutorial on processing gold from rock and sand, because in my environment there are lots of gold rocks, and I really want to know the right way to process it until it becomes gold metal, thank you friends, god bless you 🙏🙏🙏
I have 55 gallon drums full of those! They are great for recovery! Also, it's way faster to use a hammer. Put it on its side then hit it really hard. Flip it over and do it to the other side and you will have it taken apart in less then a minute
You used sodium metabisulfite for gold precipitation in the 1st stage.. Why did you use ferrous sulfate in the 2nd stage gold precipitation.. is there a special reason?? wouldn't we have used hydrazine hydrate or sodium metabisulfite?? We are following your channel with pleasure...
Stannous chloride turns purple with gold and brown with paladium. Your end result will have large amounts of paladium in it. Please refine the connecting pins and ic seperately
@@venerandarain3 so, how much do the chemicals cost, how is the waste dealt with, how many hours are spent doing this? Note: I am also trying to do electronics gold recovery. Only part way through, but as a hobby first try, I realize that it will only earn pennies / hour. Urban gold mining apparently yields more gold than ore mining, but I believe it needs to be done on a industrial level.
Why do so many people make a SnCl test when dissolving the gold? You put gold and AR in a beaker. OF COURSE there is gold in solution. This is why you do this. The SnCl test is to test after precipitation if you have precipitated fully or after washing the residue of filtering a gold bearing solution if you have washed enough.
It is also used to test if the SnCl solution is working properly. Or to check of everything is in order. Sometimes pH can mess things up, so despite the gold being in solution, it wont show on the test. Hence a possibilility of precipitation problems occur
