I used to listen to this every day when I was homeless. I was addicted to drugs and didn't care about much but them and music. I totally forgot about this song tbh and never got to see the video until now. Crazy to see it was uploaded on my birthday. Now I've got a full time job and thousands in the bank. I was homeless for 8 months the last time. Life does get better. Keep your head up and stick to what's right. Stay blessed.
Props to you bro. I was in a depression for a long time and still struggle with falling into that same mental state to this day but I’ve been working on getting out of my funk. I also recently found this song again and watched the video for the first time today, your bday is the same as my dad’s and one of my best friends, I’m a day late but happy bday man!
@@visu550 Well Ski, denzel, j cole, Kendrick and many more people didn't change (for the worse) when they got popular. The only people that I can think of that changed is 90% of the mumble rappers and X but I honestly think he didn't change much considering he has had songs in the past where he sung rather than rapped. Also he had a good reason to start singing at that point in time.
+Jack Sollars Not really though, I think he is mainly still sticking to his roots. I can compare Catch me outside (I think released in 2016) with The Coolest monkey in the jungle (2018). He still the same old ski. Can also compare Going down to underwater (early 2017) to Not tonite (a week ago). Yeah, people will change a tiny bit but I think his minor differences are for the better.
His label is pushing him too much, his advertisements on IG and on YT are generally pushing me away from him because people and me alike don’t like seeing the most of a person they’re putting themselves out there too much, that’s why interviews exists.
