I got it and did a review on it... challenged it with my hardest hair piece. Wig it TRIED but wasn't able to do the job... I do still LOVE the stuff however thanks for introducing it to me.
This is a beautiful look for you!! I love the wig and also your eyeshadow. Please do a tutorial on this eye look. Also thanks for sharing this wig gripper product. I will definitely be purchasing it and the wig. You always have great informative videos :-)
Nice video but this product is HORRIBLE. It's messy and your wig still slides back, PLUS it leaves this horrible shiny residue that's so time consuming to remove. I gave it 2 chances n threw it on the trash.
I'm so glad I came across this video..I've been looking for something that would have the grip like glue, but that's not glue..I tried glue, and I didn't like it at all..so,I'm going to try this stuff..and I love your personality,it's very bright and bubbly :)
I will try this for everday as well, thanks! Ghost Bond is a glue that doesn't destroy your hair and is safe and approved. Other Glues are dangerous. Contains no chemicals and Latex! Just a tip if you do want something stronger. Also use Citrus Solvent to remove it!
OMG. When the video began, I thought you had a headband on. It wasn't until you pulled the wig down that I realized what was going on. LOL. What can I say? It looked cute from the beginning. LOL. Thanks, hun! :-)
@MajorMovieStar actually its nothin like glue. You could leave this product on your edges and it will disolve into an oil by its self., But it will be a little sticky. The glosser just gets ride of the stickiness faster. It doesn't give you an extra strong hold it just grips the lace a little better like a strong jam. I really wanted to stress the point that this is nothing like a glue, because its not.
I love your hair and make up vids and your reviews. Watch them all the time. Can you tell me how this holds up on hot, hot days? or in a steamy shower? one of the reasons that I stopped using glue is that I found that after taking a shower and on hot days the glue dissolved leaving me with a sticky, white mess. Also, as far as the clean up, does this require the wig gripper to be washed out daily? Thanks so much for your vids:).
I could not find the wig it glosser bottle on the site, I only see the gripper. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Thanks for sharing.
so basically this should be able to provide the kind of hold I would need if I'm going to do sports in a wig. I'm talking the kind of sports that have me doing jumping, spinning, cartwheeling and stuff. I also deal with kids and don't want them to have as easy a time ripping it off.
Hi, I love your vids! I really appreciate that you will remove your hair to show the construction of the inside of the cap! And letting us know if its a lose or snug fit! ( bc I have a bighead!) Keep them coming! Thank You Kindly!
I don't use it as a glue, but more as a may to hold the lace down a little and to help it blend with my lace and hair line. How did you try to use it, and contact the company if you hate it.
Tried this today. Not a fan, it stays sticky and shiny. Better to do no glue or just break down and use a few pieces of tape especially on the bottom sides in IMO. But that's just me, it got on my unit and I almost died. LOL
I will have to go back in review the video. I don't recommend it as a glue or to be used on a full lace. Now a lace front it worked well for me and helped blend everything in perfectly and hold the lace down, But I did recommend this products for girls who remove there wig every night. This is not a product that you can put on and then wear it for a few days.
do you think this would work well with a full lace wig? I would rather use this than using glue because i like to take my wigs off and i hate using glue because its just too messy
i clicked the link,, they do not have the glosser, only the gripper, wondering if the detangler that they offer will work for removal?? anyway, the product seems like its worth trying. ty for the info.
@newchick10 I don't think they carry it on line, You can use like oil sheen, but I would email the company elevate styles and ask them to get it in. I only have 1 store in my area that carries the whole line. and no one online except them.
Hi Tiffany My name is Brenda can you please give me advise, I received my new unit on yesterday I was very excited, but I noticed the the knots were not bleached so I decide to bleach the knots myself in doing so it did not work so I will have to do it again also I wanted a more natural hair line so I used a eyebrow razor I went down to far to the scalp now I have a ring around the front Please! Please! help me I am in tears
I gotta get this for my mom...her hairline is messed up cause she was shaving off hair to put on wigs. I wonder if it will hold grey hair down cause her hair is grey.
Hello, So sorry for taking so long to get back to you. But I would recommend they use no products at all. This video was recorded so long ago, and there are so many new methods. I would recommend you take a piece of elastic ( you can purchase it from a craft store) measure your head and then cut a piece that is 1/2 the size. Sew this to the inside of your wig. I will make the like secure and it will lay down flat and look natural. I hope this helps!!! Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment.
Rockstar Mom There is this stuff called gro protect solution by morning glory. look it up. you put this on your hair even if you're bald and it forms a layer to protect your hair if you want to use glue. or you can even sew hair in.
I think I'm liking the idea of this product...but I do have one question and anyone can answer....so if I happen to get some of the gripper on more of my forehead ourtside of the hairline...do I just use the glosser to wipe it up so I'm not having a shine around my hairline? I hope that made sense lol...
